Nikki Reed is defending Ian Somerhalder in response to backlash over the news that he threw out her birth control pills. During an interview earlier this week on Dr. Berlin’s Informed Pregnancy Podcast the couple were asked when they had decided to start a family. Somerhalder said, “May,” and Reed replied, “Oh yeah..oh when you threw out all my birth control pills.” Somerhalder received major backlash after the interview. Reed took to social media to defend him tweeting, “WOMEN’S RIGHTS MATTER, so please don’t use false narratives to highlight issues that are truly important!”
Jimmy Kimmel continued his fight with Republican leaders over the latest proposed health care bill on Thursday night. Kimmel took aim at President Trump, who tweeted about the legislation calling it “a great bill” that would “Repeal & Replace” Obamacare. Kimmel said that Trump is uniformed and would sign any bill that would replace Obamacare just to get the president’s name off of it.”
The Blast obtained Jerry Lewis’ will and reported that the comedic actor excluded the six children from his first marriage from receiving any benefits upon his death. The will had been formalized in 2012. Lewis and his first wife were married for 36 years and divorced in 1980. Lewis remarried in 1983. He shared an adopted daughter with his second wife.
