Pharrell Williams sent Donald Trump a cease and desist order after he played his song Happy at a political rally. “On the day of the mass murder of 11 human beings at the hands of a deranged ‘nationalist,’ you played his song ‘Happy’ to a crowd at a political event in Indiana,” wrote Howard King, Williams’ lawyer, according to USA Today. “There was nothing ‘happy’ about the tragedy inflicted upon our country on Saturday and no permission was granted for your use of this song for this purpose,” the letter continued. “Demand is hereby made that you cease and desist from any further unauthorized use of Pharrell Williams’ music.”
Hilary Duff welcomed baby girl, Banks Violet Barr on October 25th. Duff and her boyfriend, Matthew Roma announced the news on Monday. “This little bit has fully stolen our hearts!” Duff captioned a shot of her cradling her newborn in her arms on Instagram. “She joined our world at home on Thursday afternoon and is absolute magic.”
Nicole Kidman revealed that her young children would appear in the upcoming season of Big Little Lies. During her guest appearance on Tuesday’s episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Kidman said, “They were in as extras in Big Little Lies, which I’ve never told anyone.” Kidman shares two daughters with her husband Keith Urban, seven-year-old Faith and 10-year-old Sunday. She also share two adult children with her ex-husband Tom Cruise, Conner and Isabella.
