Pink offered to pay the fines given to the Norwegian women’s beach handball team after they refused to wear bikini bottoms while competing. The European Handball Federation fined the team a total of around $1765 saying the team competed in “improper clothing” because the woman chose to wear shorts during the European Championships. “I’m very proud of the Norwegian female beach handball team for protesting sexist rules about their ‘uniform’,” Pink tweeted in support of the team. “The European handball federation SHOULD BE FINED FOR SEXISM. Good on ya, ladies. I’ll be happy to pay your fines for you. Keep it up.”
Kyle Richards was hospitalized for bee stings over the weekend. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star revealed that she had been rushed to the hospital after accidentally walking into a bee hive. Richards explained she was home alone when the incident happened and that she is allergic to bees. She posted security footage showing her jumping into her pool to get away from the bees.
Will Ferrell, Jon Hamm and Awkwafina have joined this week’s Just for Laughs Montreal virtual awards show. The actors are among the special celebrity guests to take part in the online event, which will stream for free on Wednesday. Kristen Wiig and Dave Chappelle are among the award recipients.
