QUINCY JONES Dead at the age of 91

Legendary music producer Quincy Jones has died at the age of 91. His publicist Arnold Robinson told The Hollywood Reporter that Jones “passed away peacefully” at his Bel-Air home, surrounded by his loved ones. The family said in a statement, “Tonight, with full but broken hearts, we must share the news of our father and brother Quincy Jones’ passing. And although this is an incredible loss for our family, we celebrate the great life that he lived and know there will never be another like him.” Jones received the Grammy Legend Award in 1991 and 28 Grammys from an all-time best 80 nominations. He was to be presented with an honorary Oscar at the Governors Awards on November 17th.

James Van Der Beek revealed that he has been diagnosed with cancer. “I have colorectal cancer. I’ve been privately dealing with this diagnosis and have been taking steps to resolve it, with the support of my incredible family,” the Dawson’s Creek star told People. “There’s reason for optimism, and I’m feeling good,” Van Der Beek added. He did not provide any other details about his diagnosis.

Stevie Nicks revealed that she voted for the first time about six years ago. “I never voted until I was 70, but I regret that. I’ve told everybody that onstage for the last two years,” the Fleetwood Mac legend said on MSNBC. “I regret that and I don’t have very many regrets.”
