Dwayne Johnson says he’s “seriously considering” running for President of the United States. Johnson told Variety that his movie schedule means a run in 2020 is not likely.  “Realistically, as we go into 2018, when you look at my slate as we’re developing and shooting into 2019 and 2020, the slate goes deep into 2021, so it feels like the realistic consideration would be 2024.” The Jumanji star explained why he would want to hold public office. “I care deeply about our country, and I care deeply about our people – especially now. Decency matters and being a decent human being matters, and character matters, and leadership matters.”

Gene Simmons took to social media to react to a lawsuit filed on Friday by an anonymous woman who claims the KISS singer made “unwanted, unwarranted sexual advances” towards her.  “Friends, I intend to defend myself against any alleged charges you may have been reading about in the media,” Simmons wrote on Facebook. “For the record, I did not assault the person making these accusations in the manner alleged in the complaint or harm her in any way. I am conferring with my lawyers with the aim of vigorously countering these allegations. And I look forward to my day in court where the evidence will prove my innocence.”
