Rod Stewart was officially knighted today, becoming Sire Roderick David Stewart. The rocker was knighted by Prince William at Buckingham Palace in recognition for his service to music and charity. Stewart’s wife Penny Lancaster and two of his sons joined him for the ceremony. “I just wish my mum and dad had been here to see it,” Stewart told the BBC.
Miley Cyrus talked about coming out as pansexual in Variety’s Power of Women issue. “My whole life, I didn’t understand my own gender and my own sexuality. i always hated the word bisexual, because that’s even putting me in a box, i don’t ever think about someone being a boy or someone being a girl,” she told the magazine. “My eyes started opening in the firth or sixth grade. My first relationship in my life was with a chick.”
Tom Hanks will be honored at the 2016 Hollywood Film Awards. Hanks will be recognized at this year’s gala with the Hollywood Actor Award for his work in Sully. The 20th annual Hollywood Film Awards will be hosted by James Corden on November 6th.
