According to TMZ there is a Roseanne spinoff in the works. ABC is reportedly working on a show centering on Sara Gilbert’s character Darlene. Gilbert served as an executive producer on the latest season, and was one of the architects behind the revival. John Goodman is reportedly “very interested.” ABC canceled Roseanne earlier this week due to a racists tweet by Roseanne Barr.
Shailene Woodley opened up to Porter magazine about her career, revealing that she nearly quit acting before taking on her role in Big Little Lies. Before working on the HBO hit, Woodley says she “had hit a wall with acting” and asked her agents not to send any more scripts. She took a year and focused on political and activist work and then her agents insisted she look at the script for Big Little Lies. Laura Dern even called her to convince her to read the script. Once she gave it a read she “fell in love” with the series.
Kris Jenner shared some good news about her family on Thursday while she was attending the American Woman premiere in Hollywood. The momager told US Weekly that Khloe will “be home soon, so it’s really great. Khloe has been in Cleveland since the birth of her daughter True Thompson.
