Ryan Reynolds postponed arm surgery to head to China. Reynolds had the treatment scheduled for a long-standing injury over the weekend but skipped it to promote Deadpool 2 in Beijing. Fox announced last week that an edited version of the sequel would premiere there on Friday. This is the first time the series has passed the country’s strict censorship standards. “It’s been a dream of mine for years to bring ‘Deadpool’ to China and Chinese audiences, so for me this is, uh, heaven on earth,” Reynolds told fans on the promotional visit.
Brad Pitt is allegedly dating Charlize Theron. The two met during a commercial shoot six months ago. The U.K.’s Sun newspaper has reported that they started a romance over the holidays. A source told the newspaper that the pair were spotted getting cozy at a private event in January at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles. No official comment from Pitt or Theron on the rumors.
