Scarlett Johansson has dropped out of the film Rub & Tug after a wave of backlash over her casting. She issued a statement to Out magazine. “ In light of recent ethical questions raised surrounding my casting as Dante Tex Gill, I have decided to respectfully withdraw my participation in the project. Our cultural understanding of transgender people continues to advance, and I’ve learned a lot from the community since making my first statement about my casting and realize it was insensitive.”
Friday marks the 5th anniversary of Cory Monteith’s tragic death. Lea Michele paid tribute to her late boyfriend with a photo posted to her Instagram stories. “There are some who bring a light so great to the world, that even after they’ve gone, the light remains,” she captioned a photo of a sunrise. The Glee co-stars dated for almost two years before his death from a drug overdose .
Luann de Lesseps’ ex-husband and her two children are suing her. The three claim that the reality star broke a stipulation in her 2009 divorce settlement. Luann was supposed to create a trust for her $3.1 million beach house that would give her children half of the house. She has not created the trust and is allegedly threatening to sell the house and use the money to buy herself a new home. The lawsuit is asking the court to block the sale.
