James Andrew Miller’s Origins podcast revealed that Chris Noth’s character Mr. Big would have been killed off in the third Sex and the City movie if it had been made. Miller said that the screenplay had Mr. Big die of a heart attack in the shower early in the movie and remainder of the show was ” more about how Carrie recovers from Big’s death than about the relationship between the four women.” He also said that this story line was the big reason that Kim Cattrall refused to sign on to do the film because if focused so much on Sarah Jessica Parker.
