DreamWorks announced that Shrek 5 is officially in development. Plot details were not shared but it was revealed that original stars, Cameron Diaz, Mike Myers and Eddie Murphy will be reprising their roles as Princess Fiona, Shrek and Donkey. The movie will be released on July 1, 2026. The last film in the franchise was 2010’s Shrek Forever After.
Sharon Stone opened up about how her 2001 stroke effected her in a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter. “A Buddhist monk told me that I had been reincarnated into my same body,” Stone recalled. “I had a death experience and then they brought me back. I bled into my brain for nine days,” she told the outlet. “And while that was happening, everything changed,” she explained. “My sense of smell, my sight, my touch. I couldn’t read for a couple of years. Things were stretched and I was seeing color patterns. A lot of people thought I was going to die.”
