In an interview with Men’s Health, Henry Cavill revealed that he tried out for the role of James Bond. During the screen test Cavill had to walk out of a bathroom in a towel. “I probably could have prepared better,” Cavill said. “I remember the director, Martin Campbell, saying, ‘Looking a little chubby there, Henry.’ I didn’t know how to train or diet. And I’m glad Martin said something, because I respond well to truth. It helps me get better.” The role went to Daniel Craig and Cavill went on to become Superman.
Harrison Ford is set to take on his first-ever series regular role for television. According To Variety the Star Wars legend will star in and serve as an executive producer for a TV adaption of the French docuseries The Staircase. The true crime series follows novelist Michael Peterson as he is charged with the murder of his wife Kathleen. He was convicted in 2003 but in 2017 he was granted a new trail. Before his trial date he submitted an Alford plea that reduced his charge to manslaughter and he was freed on time served.
Susan Sarandon shared some pictures of her bruised face after she slipped and suffered a concussion. “A little slip = concussion, fractured nose, banged up knee,” Sarandon captioned the photos on Instagram. “So, looks like I won’t be able to meet the folks in New Hampshire with Senator Sanders tomorrow. I’m really sorry I’ll miss that opportunity . “
