Jenna Fischer revealed her breast cancer diagnosis in a video posted on Instagram in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month. The Office star was diagnosed with stage 1 triple-positive breast cancer on Dec. 1, 2023, and over the past few months, underwent a lumpectomy, chemotherapy and radiation. She chose to keep her illness quiet until she finished her treatment. She is now “cancer free” and “feeling great.” She said her hair is growing back and she “wanted to post a photo of myself in my patchy pixie looking happy and healthy to go along with this big news.”
Kathy Bates set the record straight about those Ozempic rumors. The Oscar winner told People that she lost 80 lbs over the past seven years through changes to her lifestyle and diet and she lost another 20 lbs on Ozempic. “There’s been a lot of talk that I just was able to do this because of Ozempic,” Bates said. “But I have to impress upon people out there that this was hard work for me, especially during the pandemic. It’s very hard to say you’ve had enough.” She explained that she was inspired to loss weight due to her type 2 diabetes diagnose.
