Aretha Franklin, the Queen of Soul, has passed away at the age of 76 from pancreatic cancer. Her family confirmed the news in a statement. “In one of the darkest moments of our lives, we are not able to find the appropriate words to express the pain in our heart. We have lost the matriarch and rock of our family. The love she had for her children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins knew no bounds,” Franklin’s family said. Franklin died at 9:50 am at her home in Detroit, surrounded by family and friends.
Britney Spears has been ordered to pay her ex Kevin Federline $110,000 according to E! News. $100,000 of the payment will go to cover his legal fees and the remainder is going to Benchmark Resolution Group. The two have been embroiled in an on-going battle about child support. Federline wants an increase the $20,000 monthly child support payment he currently receives.
Matt Lauer is reportedly willing to pay $20 million to his estranged wife Annette Roque in their divorce settlement. According to Page Six Lauer is “bending over backwards” to give his wife everything she wants in their divorce. The couple are currently getting along and are both spending time at their Hamptons home with three children.
