Tim Burton was immortalized in Hollywood history on Tuesday afternoon with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Beetlejuice stars Winona Ryder and Michael Keaton both spoke at the ceremony. He received his star in the motion pictures category and it’s appropriately placed in front of Hollywood Toys & Costumes, as it’s a location that means a lot to him.
A One Tree Hill reboot is reportedly in the works. According to Deadline Hilarie Burton and Sophia Bush will be reprising their roles as Peyton Sawyer and Brooke Davis for the Netflix “sequel series.” They will also be executive producing.
Sir Ian Mckellen would reprise his role as Gandalf in the Lord of the Rings franchise if asked. “I’ve just been told there are going to be more films and Gandalf will be involved and they hope that I’ll be playing him,” Mckellen told Big Issue magazine. “When? I don’t know. What the script is? It’s not written yet. So they better be quick!” He is still recovering from a fall he took back in June during a performance of Player Kings in London.
