Tom Arnold and Mark Burnett got physical at a pre-Emmy Awards party on Sunday night.The two were walking into the Evening Before the Primetime Emmy Awards, an annual charity event when the brawl happened. According to Arnold the reality producer “went apes—t and choked me,” and then fled the scene “with his torn pink shirt and missing gold chain.” Burnett did not address the fight but his wife Roma Downey claimed that Arnold started it. “Got this bruise tonight when Tom Arnold tried to ambush my husband Mark and me at a charity event,” she wrote on Twitter, sharing a photo of her bruised hand. “ Arnold has reportedly filed a police report about the incident.
Sean Penn is not a fan of the the #MeToo movement. During his appearance on Monday’s episode of Today he said he was “suspicious” of the movement and that it aimed to “divide men and women. Penn was there promoting his new series on Hulu, The First. “We don’t know what’s a fact in many of the cases,” he elaborated, adding, “Salacious is as soon as you call something a movement that is really a series of many individual accusers, victims, accusations, some of which are unfounded.”
Kirstie Alley spoke out about the rumors that John Travolta is gay. “No, I don’t [believe it],” she said during her appearance on the Dan Wootton Interview podcast on Sunday. “I know him pretty well and I know the love.” She said on Sunday that they “sort of fell in love with each other” on the set of Look Who’s Talking in 1989. Alley said the feeling was ‘mutual,” but she did not start a sexual relationship with him because she was married at the time.
