TOM HANKS to be HONORED at the GOLDEN GLOBES

Tom Hanks is set to receive the 2020 Cecil B. DeMille Award at the 77th Golden Globe Awards in January. “The Hollywood Foreign Press Association is proud to bestow the 2020 Cecil B. deMille Award to Tom Hanks,” said HFPA president Lorenzo Soria. “For more than three decades, he’s captivated audiences with rich and playful characters that we’ve grown to love and admire. Over the years Hanks has won two Academy Awards, seven Primetime Emmy Awards, four Golden Globes and two Screen Actors Guild Awards.

Jenna Dewan is expecting her first child with boyfriend Steve Kazee. “We are beyond overjoyed and couldn’t be happier to be expanding our family!” the couple told People. This will be the first child for Kazee and the second for Dewan, who shares a 6-year-old daughter with her ex-husband Channing Tatum.

In each of the films in the original trilogy, it was important to Lucas to present new worlds, new stories, new characters, and new technologies.
