Trader Joe’s is celebrating its 50th anniversary this weekend, August 19-20, and will be offering giveaways and special product tastings in their stores. A limited-edition 50th Anniversary reusable bag will also be on sale for 50 cents. The first Trader Joe’s store opened in Pasadena, CA, on August 25, 1967, and is still in operation.
