Uma Thurman shared her personal abortion story in an op-ed for the Washington Post criticizing the Texas abortion law. “I have nothing to gain from this disclosure, and perhaps much to lose,” the Pulp Fiction star wrote. Thurman explained that she was “accidentally impregnated by a much older man” while in her teens. After talking with her parents, Thurman made the decision to have an abortion. “We decided as a family that I couldn’t go through with the pregnancy, and agreed that termination was the right choice. My heart was broken nonetheless.”
Nicole Richie accidentally lit her hair on fire blowing out the candles on her birthday cake. Richie celebrated her 40th birthday on Tuesday and in a video she posted on Instagram she is sitting at a table with her birthday cake in front of her. She leans in to blow out the candles and as she pulls back from cake her hair was on fire, someone next to her batted out the flames.
Meghan Trainor opened up about her experience with panic disorder in an interview with People. The singer recalled her first panic attack on live television. “I was announcing the [Grammy] nominees, and I was vibrating. I felt like I was going to pass out on live television. I was like, ‘What’s happening? I must be dying,” Trainor said. Her symptoms placed her in the hospital multiple times before a doctor finally provided a diagnosis . ”I’m not ashamed to say I’m on antidepressants. That medicine saved me, saved my life, saved my career. I’m back better than ever.”
