Wendy Williams’ team issued a statement after it was confirmed that her talk show is coming to an end. “It’s been a challenging time for Wendy as she deals with her health issues. She is incredibly grateful to Debmar-Mercury, to Sherri and everybody else who has supported the show through this time,” Williams’ rep Howard Bragman said. “She understands why this decision was made from a business point of view, and she has been assured by Debmar-Mercury that should her health get to a point where she can host again and should her desire be that she hosts again that she would be back on TV at that time.”
Emmy Rossum has a new gig. The Shameless star will join Tom Holland and Amanda Seyfried in Apple’s The Crowded Room. Rossum who is less than 10 years older than Holland will portray his character’s mother in the new series. The show will explore inspirational stories of those who have struggled with mental illness and learned to live successfully with it.
Scarlett Johansson is launching her own skincare line. The Black Widow star announced her plans in 2021. Her brand, The Outset has a launch date of March 1st. “I’ve been the face of several luxury brands throughout my career, and all of those experiences were really wonderful,” Johansson told Vogue . “I guess I always felt that I was sort of playing a character in those campaigns, and as I evolved, I wanted to create and represent a brand that was true to me.”
