Ed Sheeran to appear in Game of Thrones

Ed Sheeran will play a small role in the upcoming seventh season of Game of Thrones. The series creators shared the news at a SXSW panel on Sunday. They explained that the singer was invited to the set as a surprise for Maisie Williams, who plays Arya Stark on the series. She is a Sheeran superfan and for years they have tried to get him on the show to surprise her. No details on Sheeran’s role was given.

Mark Wahlberg has teamed up with AT&T. Wahlberg has reportedly signed an eight-figure deal to appear in a series of digital and TV ads for the company. The New York Post reported that the contract could be valued at more than $10 million. The campaign which is slated to start filming this week is scheduled to launch next month.

Tyra Banks will replace Nick Cannon as host of America’s Got Talent. “I look forward to connecting with the dreamers, having fun and giving hugs and words of encouragement when needed. And maybe I’ll get one or two performers to smize for the audience!” Banks said in a statement. Howie Mandel, Mel B, Simon Cowell and Heidi Klum will all return as judges for the 12th season of America’s Got Talent.
