Olivia Munn revealed that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer. She shared the news on Instagram with a gallery of photos from the hospital captioned ““I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I hope by sharing this it will help others find comfort, inspiration and support on their own journey.” The X-Men star said that she had undergone four surgeries in the past 10 months including a double mastectomy. Munn said she counts herself “lucky” that it was caught early enough that she had options.
Drake Bell revealed that he is the unnamed minor in the 2004 sexual assault conviction of Brian Peck who was hired as an acting and dialogue coach for Nickelodeon’s series All That. Bell shared his experience in a new documentary titled Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV. Bell explained that he often spent the night at Peck’s house, as the distance back to his Orange County home was too far for certain late nights. “I was sleeping on the couch where I would usually sleep and I woke up to him…I opened my eyes, I woke up and he was sexually assaulting me,” he remembered. “And I froze and was in complete shock and had no idea what to do or how to react.” The abuse went on for months until Bell revealed everything to his mother. Peck was arrested and served over one year in prison and had to register as a sex offender.
