Sophia Bush opened up about her Chicago P.D. departure to Refinery29’s Unstyled, “I don’t have to give everyone the specific break down of exactly why I left until I’m ready to do that. But, the overarching theme for me was that I landed my dream job,” Bush started. “I landed this job that, since I was 20 years old and trying to become an actor, I said I wanted. And aspects of it, don’t get me wrong, were wonderful. But, I realized…by the end of the second season I couldn’t do that job anymore.” The former One Tree Hill star told Refinery 29 that she’d confronted her bosses between season 3 and four telling them “if something really drastic doesn’t change, I’m leaving at the end of the year.” Bush left the show at the end of season 4 and now has a deal with 20th Century Fox to star and executive produce a television show.

John Legend is set to star as Jesus in NBC’s Jesus Christ Superstar Live in concert on Easter Sunday 2018. “It’s such a powerful, meaningful musical and I’m humbled to be part of this performance. We’ve already formed an incredible team, and, as we finish casting, I’m certain we will put together some of the greatest talents around to do this work justice,” Legend said in a statement.

Mark Salling entered a guilty plea for possession of child pornography in Los Angeles federal court on Monday. The former Glee star reached a plea agreement with prosecutors in October in which he admitted to possession of images of prepubescent children. Prosecutors will ask the judge to sentence the actor to  four to seven years in prison. He will also be required to register as a sex offender. Salling is scheduled to be sentenced on March 7th.
