The Vienna Tourist Board just posted an incredible 360° VR-friendly video of the city, as seen from a camera perched on an eagle’s shoulders. It’s an incredible view, made more impressive by the animal component. “The project was a world first – never before had eagles wearing 360° cameras been used to capture footage of a major city,” explained Norbert Kettner, CEO of the Vienna Tourist Board. As animal-lovers, we also enjoyed looking down over the birds’ wings and catching a glimpse of them maneuvering in the open sky.
