Courtney Love says she turned down $100,000 to attend Joss Sackler’s Fashion Week show for her LBV line. Joss is married to David Sackler who’s family owns Purdue Pharma the makers of OxyContin. “I am one of the most famous reformed junkies on the planet — my husband died on heroin — What is it about me that says to Joss Sackler, ’I will sell out to you?’” Love said in a statement issued to the Post. “Well I won’t.”
Donald Trump attacked John Legend and Chrissy Teigen on Twitter . The President seemed to be upset by Legend’s appearance in a town hall on criminal justice reform that aired on MSNBC Sunday night. “Guys like boring musician @johnlegend, and his filthy mouthed wife, are talking now about how great it is – but I didn’t see them around when we needed help getting it passed,” the President wrote. Legend fired back on Twitter but it was Teigen’s response that started trending. “Lol what a p***y a** bitch. tagged everyone but me. an honor, mister president,” Teigen tweeted.
Felicity Huffman will be sentenced on Friday for her part in the college admission scandal. Federal prosecutors want her to serve one month in jail and pay a $20,000 fine for her role in the scandal. Huffman’s attorneys requested that she instead be sentenced to a year of probation, 250 hours of community service and the $20,000 fine.
