Howard Stern responded to the controversy over a clip from a 1993 television special where he appeared in blackface and made racist remarks. The sketch was part of a New Year’s Eve special where Stern and his co-host Robin Quivers were making fun of Ted Danson who appeared at a Friar’s Club Roast for his girlfriend at the time, Whoopi Goldberg in blackface. “The sh*t I did was f***ing crazy,” Stern said on his SiriusXM radio show. “I’ll be the first to admit. I won’t go back and watch those old shows; it’s like, who is that guy? But that was my shtick, that’s what I did and I own it.” Stern also added that if he had to do it over again he wouldn’t have worn blackface. 

Liza Minnelli denied a report that she was helping Prince Harry “find his feet in Los Angeles. The British tabloid The Sun published a story that the Broadway legend had formed a friendship with the former royals after their move to California. Minnelli shared a link to the article on her Facebook page and wrote, “While I wish them well, I have never met Prince Harry and Meghan. Any statement to the contrary is a complete fabrication.”

Spike Lee apologized for comments he made on a New York radio show defending Woody Allen against cancel culture. Lee referred to Allen as “a friend of mine” and “a fellow Knicks fan.” After receiving backlash for his comment Lee apologize on Twitter. “I Do Not And Will Not Tolerate Sexual Harassment, Assault Or Violence,” the tweet read. “Such Treatment Causes Real Damage That Can’t Be Minimized.”
