Hilary Duff is set to star in a sequel to How I Met Your Mother for Hulu. This time around it will be called How I Met Your Father. Duff will both produce and play Sophie, the new Ted Mosby. “I’ve been incredibly lucky in my career to play some wonderful characters and I’m looking forward to taking on the role of Sophie,” Duff said in a statement. “As a huge fan of How I Met Your Mother, I’m honored and even a little nervous that Carter and Craig would trust me with the sequel of their baby.”
Whoopi Goldberg is writing a script for a superhero movie. “Since I was a little kid, I’ve been obsessed with superheroes,”Goldberg told Variety. “They’re all saving the earth all the time. But do you know who’s really going to save the earth? Old Black women.” Goldberg revealed that the movie will feature a Black woman learning how to wield her superhero powers later in life.
Kelly Osbourne revealed that she relapsed after nearly four years of sobriety. “So this is a little hard for me to talk about,” an emotional Osbourne said in a series of Instagram stories. “But I always promised you I will always be honest with you about where I’m at and what’s going on in my road to recovery.” Osbourne went on to say that she is “not proud of it” but that she is “back on track” and “sober today.”
