It’s been 14 years since the final episode of The Sopranos aired on HBO and Tony Soprano is about to make his return. Michael Gandofini who is the son of James Gandolfini who tragically passed away in 2013 will be taking on the role of a young Tony in The Many Saints of Newark a prequel to the award winning series. The Many Saints of Newark, from creator-writer David Chase and director Alan Taylor, will hit theaters on October 1, 2021. It will also be available for 31 days on HBO Max.
