KIMORA LEE SIMMONS reveals ABUSIVE BEHAVIOR

Kimora Lee Simmons and her ex-husband Russell Simmons are feuding on social media. Kimora shared details behind the family fighting and accused Simmons of verbally abusing their two daughters. “I’m so sorry to have to do this,” she wrote. “But this man has been threatening my kids’ lives. I’m hearing so much more now. We won’t be bullied threatened or afraid.” Their 20-year-old daughter Aoki released a series of text messages between her and her father and also an emotional video explaining the drama. “My father is not well, for years, he needs help and won’t accept that he refuses to acknowledge he is not himself,” she captioned the  clip. She went on to say that he has “threatened and bullied” her sister and grandmother. 

Amanda Bynes was detained by the Los Angeles Police Department on Saturday. TMZ published photos of Bynes in handcuffs. According to the outlet she was brought to the police station for a mental health evaluation and was then placed on a 5150 . Bynes spent three weeks in a mental hospital in April. 

 

PAUL MCCARTNEY used AI to CREATE NEW BEATLES SONG

Paul McCartney has some good news for Beatles’ fans. In an interview with BBC Radio 4’s Today program he  revealed there’s a “new” Beatles’ song coming using AI to “extricate” John Lennon’s voice. “When we came to make what will be the last Beatles record – it was a demo that John had that we worked on and we just finished it up, it will be released this year – and we were able to take John’s voice and get it pure through this AI,” the legendary singer said. Overall McCartney said there is a “good side and a scary side” to AI.

Garth Brooks responded to all the backlash against Bud Light for their brand partnership with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney. “Let’s address two things on it. One is diversity. Inclusiveness. That’s me. That’s always been me,” the Country superstar said in a Facebook Live video. “Everybody’s got their opinions, but inclusiveness is always gonna be me. I think diversity is the answer to the problems that are here and the problems that are coming.” Brooks made it clear that he will not boycott Bud Light and it will be offered in his bar, Friends in Low Places Bar & Honky Tonk, when it opens this summer in Nashville. 

NAOMI WATTS and BILLY CRUDUP are MARRIED

Naomi Watts and Billy Crudup are officially married. Watts announced the happy news on social media. The King Kong star posted several photos from the big day including a picture of the couple on the steps of what appears to be a Manhattan court house. She captioned the photo,”hitched.” The pair reportedly began dating in 2017 when they played husband and wife on the Netflix series Gypsy. 

Donald Trump used Matt Damon’s voice in a fund raising video last week. The video was cut around a monologue from Damon’s character in the film Air. Trump didn’t have permission to use the  audio, and Artists Equity, the company co-founded by Damon and Ben Affleck that produced Air issued a scathing statement. “We had no foreknowledge of, did not consent to and do not endorse or approve any footage or audio from Air being repurposed by the Trump campaign as a political advertisement or for any other use.” 

Nicki Minaj was swatted earlier this month. According to TMZ child services got an anonymous call alleging child abuse at the rapper’s home in Los Angeles. Sheriff’s deputies visited Nicki’s home and spoke with her and her husband Kenneth Petty. They also saw their three year-old daughter and determined there was no abuse. Sources told the outlet that another false call came that same night reporting that her home was fire. Minaj reportedly hired lawyers to make sure the people behind the swatting are found and held accountable.

PADMA LAKSHMI is LEAVING TOP CHEF

Padma Lakshmi is exiting Top Chef after hosting the cooking show for 17 years. “After much soul searching, I have made the difficult decision to leave Top Chef. Having completed a glorious 20th season as host and exec producer, I am extremely proud to have been a part of building such a successful show and of the impact it has had in the worlds of television and food,” she wrote on social media.

Tyler Posey is engaged to singer Phem. The Teen Wolf star opened up to People about his proposal. “We got engaged in Cambria, California. Phem’s favorite place,” he said. “We spend every Valentine’s Day there, so it only felt perfect to do it there.“ Posey also shared some information about their plans for the big day. He revealed they are “getting married at a very special place that means a lot to us. We want a fairly intimate wedding. Or at least the ceremony but the reception will be the dance party everyone can join.”

Lisa Rinna opened up about her reason for leaving the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Who wants to leave a job?” she told The Evening Standard. “ But I think we all knew it was time. Eight years of that kind of show… What more could I have done, besides generate more memes?” 

DANNY MASTERSON found QUILTY of RAPE

Danny Masterson was found guilty on Wednesday of raping two women in the early 2000’s. The jury were deadlocked on a third rape charge. The, That 70’s Show star faces 30 years to life in prison. He was immediately handcuffed and taken into custody. He is scheduled to be sentenced on August 4th. 

Kim Cattrall will reportedly reprise her role as Samantha Jones for season 2 of And Just Like That. According to Variety she will only appear in one scene and she shot her dialogue in New York City without seeing or speaking to any other cast members. Kim will appear in the season finale and will have a phone conversation with Sarah Jessica Parker’s character Carrie.

According to The Blast Universal Pictures is in development on an untitled new Fast & Furious film. The project will star Dwayne Johnson as Luke Hobbs. According to sources the film will be a direct continuation of the main franchise story. It will serve as a bridge between Fast X and Fast X: Part II.  

MILEY CYRUS does NOT WANT to TOUR

Miley Cyrus does not want to tour anymore. “It’s been a minute,” the singer told British Vogue. “After the last [arena] show I did, I kind of looked at it as more of a question. And I can’t. Not only ‘can’t’ because can’t is your capability, but my desire.” Miley’s last concert tour was in 2014. 

Whoopi Goldberg asked Michael J. Fox  if he had any regrets about acting roles he had walked away from in the past. “There was a chance to work with you that I missed,” Fox said. “They talked to me about Ghost early on. I said, ‘It’ll never work.’ I said, ‘Whoopi is great but it’ll never work.” Goldberg added, “Well, you know what? There’s still time. So, yeah, we’ll find something to do now.”

Vin Diesel opened up about Dwayne Johnson and Gal Gadot’s surprise appearance in Fast X. “The conversations are what makes the best movie? What feels right for a franchise? How do you make as many people happy in this world? And both of them clearly make people happy,” Diesel told The Hollywood Reporter at Charlize Theron’s Africa Outreach Project block party on Saturday. “Underscore that with this running theme of unity that prevails in the Fast and Furious saga, and it’s a match made in heaven.”

LL COOL J reflects on the END OF NCIS: LOS ANGELES

LL Cool J reflected on the final moments filming NCIS: Los Angeles. “It was amazing. You know, I mean this is 14 years later,” he told People. “Normally they’ll be like, ‘Alright, that’s an episode wrap,’ but this was an episode wrap and a show wrap and a series wrap. It was big, it felt big, but it felt like we accomplished something.” NCIS: Los Angeles ran for 14 seasons and 322 episodes. 

Jessie J is a mom. “A week ago my whole life changed,” the singer wrote on Instagram. “My son entered this world and my heart grew twice the size. The feeling is indescribable [and] I am flying in love. He is magic. He is all my dreams come true [and] he is my whole world.”

Harrison Ford was honored with the Palme d’Or on Thursday at the Cannes Film Festival. Ford got emotional while excepting the award before the premiere of Indiana Jones  and the Dial of Destiny. “I’m deeply moved by this honor, and humbled – but I’ve got a movie you’ve got to see,” Ford said. 

TINA TURNER has DIED at the age of 83

Legendary singer Tina Turner has died at the age of 83 . “With her music and her boundless passion for life, she enchanted millions of fans around the world and inspired the stars of tomorrow,” read a post on her Instagram page. “Today we say goodbye to a dear friend who leaves us all her greatest work: her music. All our heartfelt compassion goes out to her family. Tina, we will miss you dearly.” Her family said in a statement that the “Queen of Rock & Roll” died peacefully in her home in Switzerland after a long illness.

KATE BOSWORTH and JUSTIN LONG are MARRIED

Kate Bosworth and Justin long may have secretly married. Long called the Blue Crush star his wife during a recent episode of his podcast Life Is Short when talking about filming in Bulgaria. “I was there while I was like really falling in love with my now-wife,” he told guest Kyra Sedgwick. “She came to visit and I had never been comfortable with set visits. I like to separate the relationship … But, yeah, I loved having her there and we just had the most magical time.”

Anne Heche was laid to rest on Mother’s Day. The actress was cremated shortly after her death and now her ashes are in their final resting place. Both of her sons attended the service at Hollywood Forever Cemetery .The ceremony was “small, private and lovely,” a source told People. Heche died in August 2022 after crashing her car into a home in Los Angeles.

Reba McEntire will be replacing Blake Shelton as a coach on The Voice. The country music legend confirmed the news on social media posting,”There’s a new coach in town! See you in the fall.” McEntire will join returning coaches John Legend, Niall Horan and Gwen Stefani for season 24.

 

MARTHA STEWART on the COVER of SI SWIMSUIT EDITION

Martha Stewart revealed her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover on the Today show. Stewart said she “liked” the picture. She felt it was “odd” to be photographed in swimwear “in front of all those people,” but it “turned out OK.” At 81 years old she  is the oldest model to be on the cover of the magazine’s swimsuit edition.   

Dior has signed Johnny Depp to the largest men’s fragrance deal ever. Sources estimate that the three year deal will earn him upwards of $20 million. The Pirates of the Caribbean star has served as the face of Dior Sauvage since 2015.

Jamie Foxx is out of the hospital. His daughter Corinne Fox gave fans an update on social media. “Update from the family: Sad to see how the media runs wild. My Dad has been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating. In fact, he was playing pickleball yesterday! Thanks for everyone’s prayers and support!”
