DONALD TRUMP found LIABLE for SEXUAL ABUSE

The verdict is in and the jury sided E. Jean Carroll in her civil lawsuit against former President Donald Trump. Carroll claimed he raped her in a department store dressing room in 1996. After less than three hours of deliberation the jury found him liable for sexual abuse and awarded her $5 million in total damages, Trump did no appear in court during the trial.

Robert De Niro is a father of seven,. The acting legend corrected an ET Canada reporter recently who said he was a father of six, clarifying that he “just had a baby.” No further details have been released. 

Jennifer Coolidge showed her support for the WGA strike in her pre- recorded speech for the MTV Movie & TV Awards on Sunday. “Almost all great comedy starts with great writers and I just think that as a proud member of SAG , I stand here before you tonight side by side with my sisters and brothers from the WGA that are fighting right now, fighting for the rights of artists everywhere,” Coolidge said. The “White Lotus” star was being honored with the Comedic Genius award .

KEVIN HART gives UPDATE on JAMIE FOXX

Jamie Foxx remains hospitalized three weeks after suffering a medical emergency. On Tuesday Kevin Hart commented about Foxx’s status during his appearance on the Impaulsive podcast. “I don’t know the details or the exact details as to what’s going on, but to my knowledge, there’s a lot of progression and a world of better,” Hart said. Foxx spoke out for the first time since his hospitalization with an Instagram post. “Appreciate all the love!! Feeling blessed,” Foxx wrote. 

Taylor Swift is reportedly dating The 1975 frontman Matty Healy. Sources told The Sun that they are already “madly in love” after dating for less than two months. According to the source, “They first dated, very briefly, almost 10 years ago but timing just didn’t work out.”

Maria Menounos revealed that she privately beat stage 2 pancreatic cancer at the same time she and her husband Kevin Undergaro were preparing for the birth of a baby girl via surrogate. “I’m like ‘How in the freaking world can I have a brain tumor and pancreatic cancer?'” Menounos told People. “All I could think was that I have a baby coming.” On February 16, Menounos had surgery to remove the mass, a portion of her pancreas, a large fibroid, her spleen and more than a dozen lymph nodes.  She was diagnosed and treated for a brain tumor in 2017. 

STARS share their SUPPORT for the WGA STRIKE

Before the start of the WGA strike several stars showed their support for TV and Film writers on the red carpet at the Met Gala. “Everything changed with streaming and everyone needs to be compensated for their work,” Amanda Seyfried told Variety.  Jimmy Fallon said “I wouldn’t have a show if it wasn’t for my writers and I support them all the way.”  Olivia Wilde told Reuters, “I support the writers, and I think it’ll affect all of us. It’ll affect every part of the industry, and people beyond the industry.

Serena Williams is pregnant with baby #2. The tennis legend announced the news on the way to the Met Gala Monday night. Williams posted a picture of herself and her husband Alexis Ohanian dressed for the big event on Instagram. She captioned the photo, “Was so excited when Anna Wintour invited the 3 of us to the Met Gala.”

Emma Watson revealed why she hasn’t made a movie in five years.  “The thing I found really hard was that I had to go out and sell something that I really didn’t have very much control over,” the Harry Potter star told The Financial Times.  “It was very difficult to have to be the face and the spokesperson for things where I didn’t get to be involved in the process.” Her last film appearance was Little Women in 2018.

 

RYAN REYNOLDS & ROB MCELHENNEY celebrate WREXHAM’S promotion

Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney are celebrating their Welsh soccer team Wrexham’s promotion to the English Football League.  The two spoke to Extra at an FYC event for their docuseries “Welcome to Wrexham.” Rob said “It’s the honor of my lifetime. I mean, just to be welcomed into that community.. It’s just, I’m speechless.” Ryan added, “Yeah, I feel the same way.I just think what was leading up to it, the pressure Rob and I felt was for that community and as you know, so many people had kind of all their chips in the center of the table for something like this to happen.”

Ed Sheehan was back in court on Monday. The singer played four acoustic songs while on the stand to attempt to prove he did not copy Marvin Gaye’s song Let’s Get It On. The heirs of Ed Townsend who is the co-writer of Let’s Get It On  are suing Sheeran saying his song Thinking Out Loud had “striking similarities” and violated their copyright.

JERRY SPRINGER has DIED at the age of 79

Talk Show host Jerry Springer has died at the age of 79. Springer died peacefully Thursday in his Chicago home after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer. “Jerry’s ability to connect with people was at the heart of his success in everything he tried whether that was politics, broadcasting or just joking with people on the street who wanted a photo or a word,” his family said in a statement. The Jerry Springer show aired from 1991 to 2018 and was infamous for it’s controversial material. 

Jackass star Bam Margera has turned himself in to authorities in Pennsylvania. Margera allegedly punched his brother during an altercation four days earlier. He was arraigned and plead not guilty. According to court records he was released on $50,000 unsecured bail. 

Nicolas Cage opened up about some of his “crummy” movie roles in an interview with 60 Minutes. Cage said he took the roles to get out of debt after some poor business decisions. “The real estate market crashed and I couldn’t get out in time,” he said. “I paid them all back, but it was about $6 million. I never filed for bankruptcy.” The Con-Air star said that “work was always my guardian angel.” 

LIONEL RICHIE opens up about SOFIA RICHIE’S WEDDING

Lionel Richie opened up about his daughter Sofia Richie’s wedding. Sofia married married Elliot Grainge on Saturday in France.  “Baby Girl got married. When I say that… it’s a great feeling, I must say, I’ve known Elliot since he was 9 years old. So I know the groom really well,” Richie told Extra.   “It was a moment where, yes, I was letting her go, but I was also gaining a family. The family is getting huge right about now, but we are happy.”

Halsey and Alev Aydin have called it quits after two years of dating. The singer filed court documents asking for full physical custody  of their one-year-old son Ender Ridley.  Halsey also requested shared legal custody and requested that he gets “reasonable visitation” their son. 

Jamie Foxx remains hospitalized in Georgia with an undisclosed medical condition. Foxx entered the hospital on April 11th. Nick Cannon told Entertainment Tonight that Foxx is doing “so much better.” He said, I’m actually about to do something special for him, and doing him a favor.” He could not reveal what the favored was but confirmed that he got his instructions from Foxx himself. 

DANIEL RADCLIFFE is a DAD!!

Daniel Radcliffe and his longtime girlfriend Erin Darke have reportedly welcomed their first child together. The Daily Mail shared photos of the couple in New York City with the Harry Potter star pushing a stroller. News broke in March that the couple were expecting their first child. No other details have been shared.

Rumer Willis is a mom. Willis and her boyfriend Derek Richard Thomas welcomed their first child together. The couple announced the happy news with a post on social media. “Louetta Isley Thomas Willis. You are pure magic. Born at home on Tuesday April 18th,” the new parents captioned a photo of their newborn daughter.  

Meghan Trainor who is pregnant with her second child with husband Daryl Sabara revealed the sex of the baby. The couple are expecting a baby boy. Trainor revealed the news on Tuesday’s episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show. The couple are already parents to son Riley. 

MATTHEW PERRY to REMOVE KEANU REEVES from his BOOK

Matthew Perry said he is going to remove his comments about Keanu Reeves from future editions of his memoir. The Friends star called his comments “mean” and a “stupid thing.” In his book Perry wrote,

”Why is it that the original thinkers like River Phoenix and Heath Ledger die, but Keanu Reeves still walks among us?” Perry later apologized for the remarks. 

Pennsylvania State Police have issued an arrest warrant for Bam Margera. According to authorities the Jackass star was involved in a physical altercation with someone who suffered minor injuries. Bam fled into the woods near his home and has not been located yet. He is facing one charge of simple assault, one charge of harassment, and four charges of terroristic threats “with intention to terrorize another.”

Shannen Doherty and Kurt Iswarienko are divorcing after 11 years of marriage. In a statement to TMZ the Beverly Hills 90120 star’s attorney said that this is “the last thing Shannen wanted.” The couple wed in October 2011 and do not have any children together. Doherty is reportedly asking for spousal support but does not want any to be awarded to Iswarienko.

 

HILARY DUFF’S husband MATTHEW SUSPENDED from TWITTER

Hilary Duff’s husband Matthew Koma was suspended from Twitter after impersonating Gwyneth Paltrow on the site. Before his ban, Matthew used Gwyneth’s name and photo on his profile while tweeting as if he were the Iron Man star. Later he posted a screenshot on Instagram of Twitter notifying him that his account was “permanently suspended,” he captioned it “Goodbye Twitter. The troll was worth it.”

The drug dealer who sold Michael K. Williams the drugs that caused his fatal overdose has plead guilty. Irvin Cartagena sold fentanyl-laced heroin to the Wire star in 2021. Cartagena plead guilty to “one count of conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute fentanyl analogue, fentanyl, and heroin.”  He is set to be sentenced later this year and faces up to 40 years in prison. 

Reese Witherspoon is not dating Tom Brady. Witherspoon’s rep told E!News the the rumors are completely false. A spokesperson for Brady also denied the claims to People. Reese and her husband Jim Toth announced their breakup on March 24th after 11 years of marriage.
