JUSTIN LONG and KATE BOSWORTH are ENGAGED

Justin Long and Kate Bosworth are engaged . The Blue Crush star confirmed their engagement on his Life is Short Podcast. “I thought it was the most romantic and honest and loving proposal,” Bosworth said. “It was the easiest … the words just came out, like, so naturally,” Long added.

Raquel Welch’s cause of death was revealed. According to her death certificate obtained by TMZ the screen legend’s official cause of death was cardiac arrest. It also listed that Welch had been battling Alzheimer’s disease. She passed away at the age of 82 on February 15th. 

Neil Diamond told CBS News that he only recently came to terms with his Parkinson’s disease diagnosis. Diamond retired from live performances five years ago after his diagnosis. “Somehow, a calm has moved in, and the hurricane of my life, and things have gotten very quiet, as quiet as this recording studio,” he said. “I find that I like myself better. I’m easier on people. I’m easier on myself. And the beat goes on, and it will go on long after I’m gone.” 

GWYNETH PALTROW WINS SKI TRIAL

Gwyneth Paltrow’s trial has ended. On Thursday after a short deliberation the jury decided Paltrow was not responsible for the 2016 ski collision with Terry Sanderson. The jury awarded the Iron Man star $1. Juror Samantha Imrie said in an interview on Good Morning America that it was evidence, not Paltrow’s celebrity, that swayed the jury. She said Sanderson seemed to be telling “his truth” but she thought it was “distorted.”

Emilia Clarke will make her Marvel cinematic Universe debut in the upcoming Secret Invasion for Disney+. Samuel L. Jackson told Vanity Fair that the Games of Thrones star will play G’iah a radicalized Skrull. G’iah made a brief appearance at the end of Captain Marvel as a little girl. 

Dolly Parton and Garth Brooks will co-host the 58th Academy of Country Music Awards. Parton said in a statement that she’s “thrilled to be hosting with her friend. “While I’ve had the pleasure of spending time with him throughout the years, I can’t believe we’ve never had the chance to work together,” she said. The CMA’s will be held on May 11th in Texas. 

MELISSA JOAN HART helped CHILDREN FLEEING SCHOOL SHOOTING

Melissa Joan Hart revealed that she helped students fleeing the Nashville school shooting. “My kids go to school right next to a school where there was a shooting today,” she explained in a video on social media. “My husband and I were on our way to school for conferences and luckily our kids weren’t in today, and we helped a class of kindergarteners across a busy highway,” she said while choking back tears. “They were climbing out of the woods, they were trying to escape the shooting situation at their school,” she added.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas said she left Bollywood for Hollywood because she felt like she was being “pushed into a corner in the industry.” The Quantico star revealed on Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert podcast that she was “tired of the politics.” Jonas headed to Hollywood in 2015. 

John Stamos confirmed that he once tried to Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen fired from Full House. Uncle Jessie revealed to Entertainment Weekly that “the Olsen twins cried a lot” and it made it “very difficult to get the shot.” Stamos suggest to the producers that they fire the twins. 

GWYNETH PALTROW sued FOR SKI ACCIDENT

Gwyneth Paltrow and her children are in court today in Utah. Paltrow is being sued over a 2016 ski crash at the Deer Valley Resort. Terry Sanderson accused Paltrow of crashing into him and causing  him to break four ribs and sustain a permanent traumatic brain injury. The Iron Man star countersued Sanderson alleging that he crashed into her. Sanderson is asking for $3 million in damages. Paltrow is asking for $1. 

Selena Gomez set a new Instagram record. She is the first woman to reach 400 million followers. To celebrate the achievement, she posted several photos  of herself posing with fans throughout the years, and captioned the post, “Wishing I could hug all 400 million of you” with a white heart emoji. Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and Instagram itself are the only accounts on the social media site that have more followers than Gomez. 

Julianne Hough will replace Tyra Banks as host of Dancing with the Stars. The show announced the news on Twitter writing,  “We are so excited to welcome @juliannehough as co-host of #DWTS Season 32 along with @alfonso_ribeiro!” Hough won the mirror ball trophy in the fourth and fifth seasons of the show. She was a judge for the competition between 2014 and 2017 and was a guest judge in 2021. 

NO ONE wants to PERFORM at King Charles’ CORONATION

Several artists including Elton John, Adele, The Spice Girls and Harry Styles have all reportedly declined the opportunity to perform at King Charles upcoming coronation. A rep for John confirmed to Rolling Stone that the rock legend had been asked to perform but declined due to scheduling issues. Other musicians did not comment on the report . Experts believe that artists do not want to perform due to all the scandals associated with the monarchy.

Erika Jayne opened up about filming The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills without Lisa Rinna. “You know, I miss my friend. I do. But I know that she’s off doing great things,” Jayne told Entertainment Tonight. “She’s going to be missed.” Jayne revealed that she has been filming and it was going well. the show goes on and we’re going to have a great season,” Jayne said of the production, which is currently underway. “We’ve been together as a group three times and so far, so good.”

Aaron Carter’s mother posted graphic photos from the bathroom where the singer was found dead on social media. Jane Carter said her reason for posting the photos was to ask for “a real investigation”. No cause of death has been determined since toxicology results are still pending, “Still trying to get a real investigation for the death of my son Aaron Carter. I want to share these death scene photos with you all because the coroner wrote it off as an accidental drug overdose,” Jane wrote on Facebook. She claimed due to Aaron’s drug issues “they never investigated it as a possible crime scene.” 

 

JON HAMM is ENGAGED

Jon Hamm and Anna Osceola are reportedly engaged. According to multiple outlets the couple are set to tie the knot after two years of dating. The couple met in 2015 on the set of Mad Men while filming the series finale. Congratulations.

Tom Sizemore’s family shared a health update on Monday via a statement days after he suffered a brain aneurysm.  “Today doctors informed his family that there is no further hope and have recommended end of life decision. The family is now deciding end of life matters and a further statement will be issued on Wednesday.” The family also thanked his fans for their support in the statement.

Mindy Kaling spoke to Extra about being honored with the Norman Lear Award at the 2023 Producers Guild Awards.  “To be associated with anything that bears Norman Lear’s name is such an honor, as a comedy writer especially. He created those iconic characters in television comedy… I wrote for Michael Scott for eight years on ‘The Office.’ All we’re trying to do is chase the thing that Norman Lear created, so I’m incredibly honored.”

PARIS HILTON reveals BABY NAME

Paris Hilton revealed the name of her baby boy on her This is Paris podcast. Hilton who welcomed her first child with her husband Carter Reum in January announced that her son’s name is Phoenix Barron Hilton Reum. On the podcast Hilton  shared that she found inspiration in “cities, countries and states,” keeping in theme with her own first name. After passing on “Ibiza,” “Vegas” and “Aspen,” Hilton said she settled on Phoenix “over a decade ago.”

Jean Smart shared a health update with her fans on Instagram. “February is American Heart Month — a time when the nation spotlights heart health, so it feels important to share with all of you that I am recovering from a recent, successful heart procedure,” Smart captioned her post. “I am fortunate to have excellent professional care and support from family and friends while I continue to recuperate. Please listen to your body and talk to your doctor- I’m very glad I did!”

Harvey Weinstein was sentenced to 16 years in prison for one count of forcible rape and two counts of sexual assault in a Los Angeles courtroom on Thursday.  Weinstein’s sentencing comes weeks after he was found guilty of the charges, while not guilty on one count of sexual battery by restraint. In addition, the jury was hung on three other sexual assault counts.

AVRIL LAVIGNE & MOD SUN reportedly have CALLED IT QUITS

Avril Lavigne and Mod Sun have called it quits. Multiple outlets are reporting that the couple have called off their engagement . A source close to the singer confirmed to Entertainment Tonight that, “Things haven’t been great between Avril and Mod Sun for quite some time, and after trying to make things work, Avril realized the relationship wasn’t right for her.” The couple got engaged in March 2022 during a Paris vacation.

Adam Driver and his wife Joanne Tucker may be expecting their 2nd child together. Joanne was photographed with what appears to be a baby bump in New York on Sunday. The photos were obtained by Page Six. The pair wed in 2013 and have a son together. The extremely private couple have never confirmed the existence of their son. 

Paul Rudd opened up about taking part in the final episode of Friends . “I never knew that I was going to be in as many (episodes of the show) as I was. But it also felt strange. I mean, I was in that last episode and I just thought, ‘I shouldn’t be here … I’m getting, like, a front-row seat to things I’m not supposed to see.” Rudd revealed that the cast members “were all crying” and it was emotional. 

BRUCE WILL diagnosed with DEMENTIA

Bruce Willis’ family shared a sad update on his health struggles. Almost one year after announcing his battle with aphasia the Die Hard star has been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia. “Today there are no treatments for the disease, a reality that we hope can change in the years ahead. As Bruce’s condition advances, we hope that any media attention can be focused on shining a light on this disease that needs far more awareness and research,” his family said in a statement signed by his ex-wife, Demi Moore, his current wife, Emma Heming, and all five of his daughters. 

Ryan Seacrest is leaving Live with Kelly and Ryan after six years. He made the surprise announcement Thursday morning during the show. He will stay on until the Spring and he will be replaced by Ripa’s husband Mark Consuelos. Seacrest did not give any specific reason for his departure. “It was entirely Ryan’s decision,” a source told People. “It’s been a long time coming and he and Kelly had open conversations about it.” 

 Raquel Welch died at the age of 82 on Wednesday. According to a statement from her manager the legendary actress passed away “peacefully” after a brief illness. Welch was one of the leading sex symbols of the 1960’s and 70’s.  She is survived by her two children. RIP

BRITNEY SPEARS’ FAMILY planned an INTERVENTION

According to TMZ Britney Spears’ husband, her manager and other family and friends planned to host an intervention for the pop star. They planned to convince Spears to get treatment and have her sequester in her house in Los Angeles for two months. The intervention was  canceled at the last minute. Spears reportedly met with a doctor on Wednesday night and it went well. 

Evangeline Lilly gave an update on Jeremy Renner’s recovery from his horrific snow plow accident. “He has recovered like a mofo,” Lilly told Access Hollywood. “It’s a miracle! It’s a straight-up miracle. He’s made himself really tough, that guy. You’ve always been able to see that in him. He is recovering incredibly, and it’s beautiful. I’m so grateful.”

Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart have been married for 21 years. Ford told The Hollywood Reporter that she doesn’t always fly with him since his plane crash in 2015. “My wife does not fly with me in vintage airplanes anymore—she will in others. I certainly don’t want to have to recover from that kind of accident again. It was really hard on my family and it was hard on me.”
