HENRY CAVILL returns as SUPERMAN

Henry Cavill confirmed that he is back as Superman. Cavill suited up as the Man of Steel in a bonus scene for Black Adam. On Monday he announced on Instagram that he is returning to the DC extended Universe. “A very small taste of what’s to come, my friends,” Cavill wrote in the post alongside an image of him as Superman in Black Adam. In the video Cavill discussed his return as the superhero. “The dawn of hope renewed. Thank you for your patience, it will be rewarded.”

Mandy Moore and her husband Taylor Goldsmith have welcomed their second child together. The This is Us star announced the happy news on Friday writing “Ozzie is here! Oscar Bennet Goldsmith arrived a little late but with much aplomb.” Moore also shared a photo of the newborn. The couple are already parents to their son Gus who turned one in February . 

Harvey Weinstein’s rape trial is set to begin in Los Angeles on Monday morning. The disgraced producer is currently serving 23 years in prison for sex crimes in New York. He is facing 11 charges of rape and sexual assault involving five women between 2004 and 2013 in Los Angeles. 

LANA DEL REY reveals her BOOK AND ALBUM stolen on LAPTOP

Lana Del Rey revealed that her laptop containing her new album and a book she was working  was stolen. “A few months ago, I parked my car on Melrose Place — actually Melrose Ave. in Los Angeles — and I stepped away for a minute,” she said on Instagram. “And the one time I left my backpack inside my car, someone broke all the windows and took it.” Del Rey said she was able to remotely wipe the computer but she had no cloud backup for her book. 

According to People just five months after ending her talk show Ellen DeGeneres is launching a YouTube series. About Time For Yourself…with Ellen will feature the retired host trying new hobbies including crocheting, making cards and bird watching. The eight episode series was shot at her home. 

Kevin Spacey was found not liable in Anthony Rapp’s civil sexual abuse lawsuit. Rapp claimed that in 1986 when he was 14-years-old Spacey molested him. According to reports the jury deliberated for 90 minutes before delivering their verdict. The trial lasted three weeks and both Rapp and Spacey testified during the trial.

SIGOURNEY WEAVER supports WORKING GIRL REBOOT

Sigourney Weaver shared her support for Selena Gomez’s Working Girl reboot.”Go for it. I think it’s a great instinct to want to do that again,” Weaver told The Hollywood Reporter at Elle’s Women in Hollywood gala. “It’s a kind of eternal story, you know? But seen in the new light, it’s especially interesting to think of Katharine double-crossing her assistant in today’s world.”  Weaver played Katharine Parker opposite Melanie Griffith’s Tess McGill in the 1988 classic film. 

Howard Stern spoke out about Kanye West’s antisemitic comments. “I’m really tired of people excusing his behavior by saying, ‘Well, he’s just mentally ill,’” Stern said on his radio show. After playing a clip from Kanye’s recent interview with Chris Cuomo  Stern added, ”This is so depressing. I mean Kanye used to be fun crazy. Now he’s like Hitler.”

Andy Dick was arrested last week for allegedly stealing power tools. The troubled comedian is reportedly still behind bars after his arrest on October 13th.  He was charged with first-degree residential burglary and plead not guilty. According to TMZ Dick was caught redhanded trying to flee the property after stealing power tools.

JAMES CORDEN apologizes AFTER being CALLED OUT FOR RUDE BEHAVIOR

James Corden apologized after New York City restaurant owner Keith McNally called him out for being a rude customer. On Monday, McNally posted on Instagram that  he had “86’d” Corden from his restaurant for being “the most abusive customer to my Balthazar servers since the restaurant opened 25 years ago.” McNally revealed on Tuesday that the comedian called him and apologized profusely. He said that all was forgiven and that Corden was no longer banned. 

Matthew Perry opened up about a health scare he suffered from opioid abuse in his upcoming memoir. Abut 4 years ago Perry was in critical condition after his colon burst from opioids. He spent two weeks in a coma and five months in the hospital. The Friends star had to use a colostomy bag for nine months as a result of the health crisis. Perry told People that “doctors told my family that I had a 2 percent chance to live. 

Wendy Williams is home recovering after spending more than a month in a wellness facility. “Wendy is excited about the road ahead and looking forward to releasing her many projects,” her rep said in a statement. “She wants to say “thank you to my fans for your love, support and many prayers, I am back and better than ever.”

BRANDY is recovering after HOSPITALIZATION

Brandy updated her fans after her health scare. According to TMZ the singer was hospitalized on Tuesday after a possible seizure. “To my beloved fam, friends and starz thank you for sending love and light my way. I am following doctors’ orders and getting the rest I need due to dehydration and low amounts of nutrition. Thank you for your prayers and support. Grateful for you all, see you soon,” the singer wrote on Instagram. 

JoJo Siwa has moved on from her feud with Candace Cameron Bure. Over the summer the professional dancer revealed that Bure was the “rudest celebrity” she had ever met. “I’ll be honest. I haven’t spoken to her at all since the whole thing. I think she’s alive and thriving. I think I’m alive and thriving,” she told E! News when asked about the Full House Star. “I’ve got like three problems since that one so we’re moved on,” Siwa added.

Meryl Streep is going to be a grandma again. According to multiple outlets her daughter Grace Gummer is expecting her first child with her husband Mark Ronson. This will be Streep’s fourth grandchild. 

BLAKE SHELTON is LEAVING THE VOICE

Blake Shelton is leaving The Voice after 23 seasons. Shelton is the only remaining original coach. When the show premiered in 2011 Adam Levine, Christina Aguilera , CeeLo Green and Shelton all sat in the big red chairs.  “I’ve been wrestling with this for a while and I’ve decided that it’s time for me to step away from The Voice after next season,” Shelton wrote. “The show has changed my life in every way for the better and it will always feel like home to me. It’s been a hell of a ride over these 12 years of chair turns,” Shelton wrote on Instagram.

Kevin Bacon opened up about losing his fortune in Bernie Madoff’s Ponzi scheme. The Footloose star said on the Smartless podcast that he and his wife Kyra Sedgwick “had most of our money in Madoff.” He told the hosts “Certainly, you get angry and stuff, but I have to say, there were a lot of people who were much worse off than we were – old people, people whose retirement funds were completely decimated.” He added that a “portion” of their losses were returned but not all. 

Cyndi Lauper announced that she is launching the Girls Just Want to Have Fundamental Rights Fund to support organizations fighting for the right to abortion and reproduction health care. “What should be a private medical decision between you and your doctor is now a government decision,” she told  PEOPLE. “So, this is a big issue for me.” This is not Lauper’s first time championing human rights. In 2008 she co-founded True Colors United to aid homeless LGBTQ+ youth. 

 

ANGELA LANSBURY dies at the age of 96

Angela Lansbury died in her sleep at her Los Angeles home on Tuesday at the age of  96. Lansbury is best known for her role in “Murder,She Wrote.” The series ran for 12 years and was one of CBS’ biggest hits in the 80’s. She won five Tony Awards and earned three best supporting actress Oscars nominations during her career. 

Kaley Cuoco is going to be a mom. The Big Bang Theory star and her boyfriend Tom Pelphrey are expecting their first child together.  Cuoco shared a series of photos on Instagram to announce the news. She included a photo of a slice a cake with pink frosting inside to reveal that they are having a baby girl. 

Kathie Lee Gifford will not read Kelly Ripa memoir Live Wire: Long-Winded Short Stories. “I’m not going to read the book. I haven’t read it. I don’t even know if it’s out yet. I just know what Regis was to me,” Gifford told Good Day New York. “He was, for 15 years, the best partner a person could ever, ever have professionally, but he was my friend. We were dear friends and after I left the show, for the next 20 years, we became better friends, dearer friends.”

T.J. MILLER will NEVER WORK with RYAN REYNOLDS AGAIN

T.J. Miller revealed that he will never work with Ryan Reynolds again after an awkward moment on the set of Deadpool 2. Miller portrayed Reynolds’ friend Weasel in the films. “We had a really weird moment on the set of Deadpool where he said, ‘Let’s do one more take.’ And then as the character, he was horrifically mean to me as if I’m Weasel,” Miller recalled during his appearance on The Adam Corolla Show. 

Jamie Lee Curtis is among the many celebrities outraged over Kanye West’s antisemitic social media posts. “I woke up and I burst into tears,” Curtis told Hoda Kotb on the Today show Monday morning. “It’s bad enough that fascism is on the rise around the world, but on Twitter? On a portal to pour that in, as if Jewish people haven’t had it hard enough?… As if Asian people haven’t had enough. I mean, it was just abhorrent.”

NeNe Leakes confirmed on Instagram that her 23-year-old son Brentt suffered a stroke two weeks ago and has congestive heart failure. “This is not the way I wanted it to come out,” Leakes said in a video. “We wanted to be able to talk about it ourselves when Brentt was in a better place … but I would rather the correct thing be out there than something that’s not correct.” The Real Housewives of Atlanta star revealed that Brentt is currently having trouble speaking and that doctors are still running tests because they do not know exactly what caused the stroke. 

 

DWAYNE JOHNSON say running for President NOT ON THE TABLE

Dwayne Johnson will not be running for President. “It’s off the table. Yes. It is off the table,” Johnson told CBS Sunday Morning. “I will say this because it requires a B-side to this. I love our country and everyone in it. I also love being a daddy. And that’s the most important thing to me is being a daddy, number one, especially during this time, this critical time in my daughters’ lives.”

William Shatner revealed that his trip to outer space on Jeff Bezo’s Blue Origin shuttle left him with mixed emotions. In his new book Boldly Go: reflections on a Life of Awe and Wonder Shatner wrote that he was surprised by how he reacted to the his trip to space. “Everything I had thought was wrong,” Shatner wrote in an excerpt shared by Variety. “I discovered that the beauty isn’t out there, it’s down here, with all of us. Leaving that behind made my connection to our tiny planet even more profound.” 

Mindy Kaling revealed the star-studded cast of her upcoming adult animated Scooby-Doo series at New York Comic Con. Velma will stream on HBO Max. Kaling will voice Velma along with Sam Richardson as Shaggy, Constance Wu as Daphne and Glen Howerton as Fred. Scooby-Doo will not appear in the series set to debut in 2023. 

KIM KARDASHIAN fined $1.26 MIL by SEC

Kim Kardashian will pay a $1.26 million fine to the Security and Exchange Commission.  The SEC charged the reality star for promoting crypto currency on her Instagram without disclosing that EthereumMax paid her $250,000 to advertise the currency. Kardashian has also agreed not to promote any crypto for  three-years. 

Will Smith will be making his return to the big screen in December. It’s Smith’s first project since he slapped Chris Rock at the Oscar before winning the Best Actor Oscar for his role in King Richard. His upcoming film Emancipation is set to be released in theaters on December 2, 2022 and will be streaming a week later on Apple TV+ a week later. 

Dave Navarro announced that he will not be part of Jane’s Addiction and Smashing Pumpkin’s upcoming tour due to COVID-19 symptoms. “To all of the Jane’s Addiction fans attending the Jane’s/ Smashing Pumpkins ‘Spirits On Fire’ tour, I am sorry to have to say I will not be attending due to my continued battle with Long Covid that I have been dealing with since last December,” he wrote on Twitter. “I am personally gutted as our original bass player has returned, Eric Avery. We wanted to bring you the original lineup, but that will have to wait until I am recovered. “
