KATIE COURIC reveals CANCER DIAGNOSIS

Katie Couric revealed that she was diagnosed with breast cancer a few months ago. The legendary news anchor shared the news on her website. “June 21, 2022, was the first day of summer, my 8th wedding anniversary, and the day I found out I had breast cancer,” she wrote. Couric had surgery in July to remove a tumor from her breast and underwent radiation which ended Tuesday. She went public with her experience to remind woman to get their annual mammogram. 

Ryan Reynolds announced that Hugh Jackman will reprise his role as Wolverine in the next Deadpool film.   Jackman joined Reynolds in a video posted on social media to break the news. Jackman stepped away from the role of Wolverine after 2017’s Logan saw the death of the character. In another video the pair reminded fans that Logan is set in 2029 and assured them that Deadpool 3 will not mess with the timeline. 

In an interview with People Tom Hanks shocked fans by saying he thinks he has made only four “pretty good” movies. “I’ve made a ton of movies (and four of them are pretty good, I think), and I’m still amazed at how films come together. From a flicker of an idea to the flickering image onscreen, the whole process is a miracle.” He does not say which four films he thinks are “pretty good.” Hanks is credited with being in over 80 films including too many classics to name. 

KHLOE KARDASHIAN is NOT DATING MICHELE MORRONE

Khloe Kardashian is not dating Michele Morrone. A recent photo of the two at Milan Fashion Week set social media a buzz with rumors of a romance. According to Morrone’s rep Dolce & Gabbana asked them to take the photo together and they obliged. 

Mila Kunis opened up about her love for reality TV. Kunis told Extra that her favorite reality shows are The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, Bachelor in Paradise and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The Bad Moms star recalled seeing one of the Housewives at a Kidz Bop concert at the Hollywood Bowl and having a full on fangirl moment .  

Sharon Osbourne told Fox & Friends that “cancel culture”  allowed people to “destroy my life because of the way I feel.” Osbourne was fired from The Talk after multiple crew members accused her of toxic and racist behavior during her years on the show. She has denied all the allegations.  Osbourne said “I didn’t want that to be the end of my career, and I thought it was unfair.”

RIHANNA set to HEADLINE SUPER BOWL LVII HALF TIME

Rihanna and the NFL confirmed that she will headline the Super Bowl Halftime show in 2023. Super Bowl LVII is set to take place on February 12, 2023 at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. Rihanna fans quickly celebrated the news on social media including several other artists including Katy Perry, Lizzo and Justin Bieber.

James Earl Jones the iconic voice of Darth Vader will not record dialogue for new Star Wars projects. According to Vanity Fair Jones’ voice will live on through an AI program that can recreate his voice. Jones last recorded as Vader for 2019’s The Rise of Skywalker. The Star Wars legend signed off on Lucas Films’ plan to continue to use his voice for Vader in the years to come. The recent Disney+ series Obi-Wan Kenobi featured the use of the technology and was overseen by Jones and his family. He voiced Vader since the first Star Wars film in 1977. 

Hilaria and Alec Baldwin have welcomed their seventh child together. The couple announced the arrival of their daughter on social media with a video montage of the newborn. She’s here!,” Hilaria captioned the video on Instagram.  “We are so excited to introduce you to our tiny dream come true.” Ilaria Catalina Irena Baldwin was born on September 22nd. Alec is also a parent to his adult daughter Ireland with his ex-wife Kim Basinger. 

BLAKE LIVELY is PREGNANT

Blake Lively is pregnant. The Gossip Girl star is expecting her fourth child with Ryan Reynolds. Lively hit the red carpet on Thursday at the Forbes Power Women’s Summit with her baby bump on display. The couple are already parents to three daughters: James, 7, Inez, 5, and Betty, 2.

Jimmy Kimmel apologized to Quinta Brunson for what he called a “dumb comedy bit.” “People said I stole your moment,” Kimmel said. “And maybe I did, and I’m very sorry if I did do that. I’m sorry I did do that, actually. And also the last thing I would ever want to do is upset you because I think so much of you. I think you know that. I hope you know that.” Kimmel presented Brunson’s category with Will Arnett at the Emmy’s on Monday night. Arnett dragged Kimmel on stage and joked that he “got into the skinny margaritas” after losing earlier. When Brunson won Kimmel remained laying on the stage during her acceptance speech. 

BRITTANY SNOW AND TYLER STANALAND SPLIT

Brittany Snow has split from her husband Tyler Stanaland. TMZ is reporting that sources told them that the recent rumors of infidelity had no bearing on the breakup.  Snow posted on Wednesday, “After time and consideration, Tyler and I have made the difficult decision to separate. This decision was made with love and mutual respect for one another. We have realized we need to take some time and make sure we are each living our most fulfilling and authentic lives.” The couple were married in 2020. 

Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney documented their first colonoscopies to highlight the importance of the cancer screening procedure. After undergoing the procedure Reynolds’ doctor revealed the they found” an extremely subtle polyp” on the right side of his colon and removed it.” The doctor called the discovery “life saving.” In the YouTube video titled Rob & Ryan Lead From Behind the Deadpool star explained, “It’s not every day that you can raise awareness about something that will most definitely save lives.” McElhenney had three polyps that were discovered and removed.

 

DREW BARRYMORE gets EMOTIONAL at REUNION with JUSTIN LONG

Drew Barrymore got emotional during her reunion with Justin Long during his appearance on her talk show. The two dated from 2007-2010. “I will always love you so much. You were so important to me. I really am, I’m really grateful,” Barrymore said as she teared up. Long replied,”you were the best.”  

Brie Larson doesn’t know if she will continue to play Captain Marvel. Variety asked her at the D23 Expo how long she plans on playing the superhero.   ”I don’t know, I don’t know — does anyone want me to do it again?” Larson told the outlet on Saturday.  “I don’t know, I really don’t know. I don’t have the answer to that.” Larson has faced harassment from some Marvel fans since her debut in the role of Carol Danvers in 2019’s Captain Marvel. 

Heidi Klum loves Halloween and is well known for her elaborate costumes worn at her annual Halloween party. “I only have one look, and I’m going to be very claustrophobic in it,” Klum told E! News about this year’s costume. “And I think—I don’t think, I KNOW, that it will be the best one I’ve ever done.”  She also shared that her costumes are always a complete surprise . “I don’t tell anyone what I’m going to do. I just don’t! I like to surprise literally everyone.”

ELIJAH WOOD supports DIVERSE CASTING in RINGS OF POWER

Elijah Wood and several other co-stars from the Lord of the Rings film have posted their support on social media for the diverse casting reflected in the Amazon series The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. Wood shared a photo standing with co-stars Billy Boyd and Dominic Monaghan . They are all wearing t-shirts with elfin ears in various shapes and skins tones and a phrase written in elvish. The elvish message translated in English is “You Are All Welcome Here.”

The cast for Season 31 of Dancing With The Stars has been announced. Selma Blair is among the celebrities to hit the dance floor. Blair will be dancing with Sasha Farber. Let’s Make a Deal host Wayne Brady will partner with Witney Carson. Real Housewives of New Jeresy star Teresa Giudice will partner with Pasha Pashkov. Jersey Shore star Vinny Guadagnino will hit the dance floor with Koko Iwasaki. Charlie’s Angels star Cheryl Ladd will parter with Louis van Amstel. HARRY STYLES did NOT SPIT on CHRIS PINE

A rep for Chris Pine shot down the rumor that Harry Styles spit on him at the Don’t Worry Darling premiere at the Venice Film Festival. “This is a ridiculous story a complete fabrication and the result of an odd online illusion that is clearly deceiving and allows for foolish speculation,” the rep told People. “Just to be clear, Harry Styles did not spit on Chris Pine. There is nothing but respect between these two men.” 

Jennifer Lawrence opened up about motherhood in a new interview with Vogue. The Hunger Games star welcomed a baby boy in February. “The morning after I gave birth, I felt like my whole life had started over. Like, ‘Now is day one of my life.’ I just stared. I was just so in love. I also fell in love with all babies everywhere. Newborns are just so amazing.” She also revealed for the first time that her son’s name is Cy. 

Pauley Perrette revealed on Twitter that she suffered a medical crisis last year.  “One year ago I had a massive stroke,” the NCIS star wrote. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight Perrette said she “woke up and had no feeling on the entire right side of her body.” When she called her doctor he told her to go to the emergency room immediately. She said she is doing OK now although she faced a few months of “lingering effects.” Perrette shared her health scare to educate others on the signs of a stroke and that you can have one at any age.
