MIRA SORVINO paid TRIBUTE to her father PAUL SORVINO after his DEATH was announced
Mira Sorvino shared an emotional tribute to her father Paul Sorvino who passed away at the age of 83. After his death was announced on Monday Sorvino tweeted, “My father the great Paul Sorvino has passed. My heart is rent asunder – a life of love and joy and wisdom with him is over. He was the most wonderful father. I love him so much. I’m sending you love in the stars Dad as you ascend.” Paul Sorvino was best know for his roles in Goodfellas and Law & Order.
Jason Momoa was involved in an accident on Sunday with a motorcycle on a highway near Calabasas. The motorcyclist crossed over double yellow lines and into the path of Momoa’s vehicle. The Aquaman star was not injured and he exited his car to assist the other driver after the collision. The motorcyclist was taken by paramedics to the hospital to treat non-life threatening minor injuries.
JoJo Siwa has labeled Candace Cameron Bure the ‘rudest celebrity” she’s ever met. In a viral TikTok video the dancer posted a video of celebrity photos labeled with, rudest, nicest, coolest and celebrity crush. JoJo gave no information on her reason for labeling the Fullhouse star the “rudest.” JoJo also revealed Zendaya as her celebrity crush, Miley Cyrus as the nicest and Elton John as the coolest celebrities she’s ever met.

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck tied the knot in Las Vegas!! The duo wed in a small ceremony on Saturday. Lopez confirmed the news on Sunday in her newsletter to fans. She said they stood in line behind four other couples to get their marriage license and they “barely” reached the Little White Wedding Chapel before midnight. The chapel staff stayed open late and let them take pictures in a pink Cadillac convertible once owned by Elvis. Lopez wrote that she wore a dress from an old movie and Affleck wore a jacket from his closet. “We read our own vows in the little chapel and gave one another the rings we’ll wear for the rest of our lives,” she wrote. She signed her newsletter, “With love, Mrs. Jennifer Lynn Affleck.
Kate Bosworth filed for divorce from Michael Polish on Friday in Los Angeles. The Blue Crush star announced almost a year ago that they were calling it quits after 8 years of marriage. The couple started dating in 2011 after he directed her in “Big Sur.” They got engaged in August 2012 and said their ‘I do’s the following year.
Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner have welcomed their second together. Their rep confirmed the news to People telling the outlet, “Joe and Sophie are happy to announce the arrival of their baby girl.” The couple are already parents to 2-year-old Willa.
KHLOE KARDASHIAN AND TRISTAN THOMPSON are EXPECTING BABY #2
Khloé Kardashian and her ex Tristan Thompson, are expecting a baby via surrogate. “We can confirm True will have a sibling who was conceived in November. Khloé is incredibly grateful to the extraordinary surrogate for such a beautiful blessing,” a rep for Kardashian told Page Six. This will be their second child together. They are already parents to 4-year-old True. Multiple sources told the outlet that despite the news the couple are not back together and that the baby was conceived before it was revealed the Tristan was having a baby with someone else.
Alfonso Ribeiro is heading back to the ballroom. The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air star won the Dancing With the Stars’ mirrorball trophy back in 2014 when he hit the dance floor. This time he will be co-hosting the show. “I’m super excited,” Ribeiro told People. “For me to be asked now to co-host with Tyra, and be part of the great crew and dancers and friend…to be able to be on stage with them and to be part of the family again, is quite special for me.
2022 EMMY SNUBS – Yellowstone, Selena Gomez, Mandy Moore
The nominations for the 74th Emmy Awards were announced on Tuesday morning and as always there were some snubs. The Kevin Costner hit Yellowstone was shut out of the nominations.
The final season of the NBC hit, This Is Us earned no acting Emmy nominations. Mandy Moore reacted on social media, “Do I wish our show was recognized in what I think was [its] finest hour? Sure. Our insanely, wildly talented cast and crew? Yah … but nothing can take away what our show meant to SO MANY (us included). That’s an incredible legacy to be a part of. I will be grateful forever.”
Hulu’s Only Murders in the Building earned 17 nominations. However Selena Gomez was overlooked for her role as Mabel . Her co-stars Steve Martin and Martin Short will face off in the Lead Actor category. The show itself earned a nomination for Outstanding Comedy Series.
Man ARRESTED trying to access SELENA GOMEZ’S HOME
LAPD arrested a man early Sunday morning after Selena Gomez’s security team spotted him attempting to gain access to her property. According to TMZ the suspect jumped a fence around 1am and security called the police. He tried to flee but responding officers found him around her neighborhood and he said he just wanted to meet Selena.
Lea Michele is making her Broadway return. She will replace Beanie Feldstein in the revival of Funny Girl. “A dream come true is an understatement. I’m so incredibly honored to join this amazing cast and production and return to the stage playing Fanny Brice on Broadway. See You September 6th,” the Glee star wrote on Instagram. The Funny Girl Broadway revival is the first remake of the 1964 show that made Barbra Streisand famous.
Elon Musk revealed on Friday that he was pulling out of his agreement to buy Twitter. They responded by threatening to pursue “legal action to enforce the merger agreement.” Musk mocked Twitter’s efforts to force him to purchase the company — in a tweet, of course.
KIRSTEN DUNST is MARRIED!!
Kirsten Dunst and her longtime boyfriend Jesse Plemons have tied the knot. According to Page Six the couple said “I do” last weekend in Jamaica. No further details were given. The pair have been together for five years and have two children together.
Paul Rudd reached out to a 12-year old boy whose classmates refused to sign his yearbook. The boy’s experience went viral after his mom posted about it on social media. The story caught Rudd’s attention and he sent him a signed Ant-Man helmet and a handwritten letter. He also surprised him with a FaceTime call.
Amber Heard’s attorneys have asked that a mistrial be declared and new trial ordered in the defamation case with her ex-husband Johnny Depp. Court documents state that Juror 15 and the individual originally summoned to serve on the jury are not the same. They both live at the same address and have the same last name. The court filing argues that Heard’s due process was compromised if the individual was not the same individual on the list, or if the clerk did not verify his or her identity.
JAMES CAAN dead at the age of 82
James Caan died on Wednesday at the age of 82. The sad news was announced on his Twitter account. “It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Jimmy on the evening of July 6. The family appreciates the outpouring of love and heartfelt condolences and asks that you continue to respect their privacy during this difficult time,” his family posted. Caan’s long career includes roles in Brian’s Song, The Gambler, Misery, Elf and many more. He is best known for his Oscar nominated performance as Sonny Corleone in The Godfather. RIP
Denzel Washington missed the Presidential Medal of Freedom ceremony at the White House on Thursday. The actor was not there because he tested positive for Covid. Washington was one of 17 recipients of the nation’s highest civilian honor. He will receive the award at a later date. At the ceremony, the president said that Washington “couldn’t be here but wanted to be.”
HAYDEN PANETTIERE reveals past OPIOID ADDICTION
Hayden Panettiere revealed that she battled alcohol and opioid addiction. She opened up about her struggles in an interview with People. She said she was first offered “happy pills” around the age of 15. “They were to make me peppy during interviews. I had no idea that this was not an appropriate thing, or what door that would open for me when it came to my addiction.” She said she managed to keep things under control while on set but off set “things kept getting out of control.” The Nashville star did an 8 month stint in rehab to break the “cycle of self-destruction.”
Bette Midler and Macy Gray have responded to the backlash they have received over recent comments that were deemed transphobic. Midler was slammed for tweeting, “They don’t call us ‘women’ anymore; they call us ‘birthing people’ or ‘menstruators, and even ‘people with vaginas’!” On Tuesday she tried to explain. “There was no intention of anything exclusionary or transphobic in what I said; it wasn’t about that,” the Hocus Pocus star wrote.
Grey issued a statement to explain her comments on Piers Morgan Uncensored. “I will say this and everyone’s gonna hate me but as a woman, just because you go change your (body) parts, doesn’t make you a woman, sorry,” the singer said while appearing on the show. On Tuesday she issued a statement saying,”I have nothing but love for the LGBTQ+ and transgender community and have been a supporter since day one. My statement on Piers Morgan was grossly misunderstood. I don’t hate anyone,” she said. “I respect everyone’s right to feel comfortable in their bodies and live their own truth.”

Rachel Brosnahan is a Highland Park native and she shared her reaction to the mass shooting that occurred during a 4th of July parade on Monday. “I grew up in Highland Park and this parade is a highlight of the year for so many families. I’m sick to my stomach every time news like this comes out,” The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel star tweeted.
Noah Cyrus opened up about her addiction to Xanax. The singer revealed in a new interview with Rolling Stone that she has been in recovery for two years. “My boyfriend at the time, when I was 18, was the first person that gave me a Xanax, and it became a way for us to bond,” she told the outlet. “Once I felt that it was possible to silence things out for a second and numb your pain, it was over.” She said her Xanax use become “this dark pit, bottomless pit,” in which she’d sleep all day, didn’t know which day was which, and struggled with memory issues. Her Grandmother’s death was a wake up call for her to seek help.
