ASHTON KUTCHER battled RARE AUTOIMMUNE DISEASE

Ashton Kutcher revealed that he had battled a rare autoimmune disease. Kutcher said that he is “lucky to be alive,” after dealing with the disorder. “Like two years ago, I had this weird, super rare form of vasculitis, that like knocked out my vision, it knocked out my hearing, it knocked out like all my equilibrium,” Kutcher explained during an upcoming episode of Running Wild With Bear Grylls: The Challenge. 

Rita Ora and Taika Waititi are reportedly married. According to multiple outlets the couple secretly tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in London. The couple got engaged two months ago and have been dating for over a year. 

Mindy Kaling is not bothered by the rumors that her former Office co-star B.J. Novak is the the father of her two children. Kaling has never shared publicly the father of her children. “He’s the godparent to both my kids and they have such a great relationship so far [the rumors haven’t] affected my happiness at all, it hasn’t affected my kids or BJ,” she told Marie Claire. 

OLIVIA NEWTON-JOHN DIES at the age of 73

Olivia Newton-John died Monday at the age of 73. The sad news was announced on her Facebook page. “Dame Olivia Newton-John passed away peacefully at her Ranch in Southern California this morning, surrounded by family and friends,” the statement read. The Grease star had battled breast cancer for 30 years.  

According to People Anne Heche is “in a coma and has not regained consciousness”  following her horrific car accident on Friday. The actress crashed her Mini Cooper into an apartment complex and a home before it burst into flames. Aerial shots of the crash show the actress being taken away on a stretcher. Police are investigating  to determine if drugs and/or alcohol were a factor in the crash.

Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson have called it quits after 9 months of dating. The couple reportedly broke up last weekend and have decided to just be friends. According to sources,” their demanding schedules made it really difficult to maintain a relationship.”

 

LADY GAGA role in JOKER 2

Lady Gaga confirmed that she will star in Joker 2 alongside Joaquin Phoenix. The singer posted a short musical teaser on social media to announce her casting. She captioned the clip with the films title, Joker: Folie à Deux and the film’s release date October 4, 2024. 

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are expecting . Teigen announced the news Instagram with a picture of her baby bump captioned, “The last few years have been a blur of emotions to say the least, but joy has filled our home and hearts again.” She revealed that she became pregnant after undergoing IVF treatments. The couple suffered a pregnancy loss of their third child, Jack in September 2020. They are parents to daughter Luna Simone and son Miles Theodore. 

 Keanu Reeves is set to star in Hulu’s adaptation of Erik Larson’s Devil in the White City.  This will mark Reeves’ first major American television role. He will also serve as an executive producer. Production on the eight-episode series is expected to start next year with a targeted 2024 debut. 

 

BEYONCE announced that she WOULD REMOVE the word SPAZ from her song HEATED

Beyoncé announced that she would remove the word “spaz” from her song Heated. The singer received backlash from critics who said the word is an ableist slur. Lizzo also removed the word from her song Grrrls earlier this summer. Beyoncé also removed the interpolation of Kelis’ song Milkshake from the song Energy. Kelis called her out for using it without permission. 

Kristin Cavallari said she briefly called off her engagement to Jay Cutler in 2011. “I called off the engagement [for] the same reason I got a divorce, and so I guess if there’s any takeaway from that it is you can’t ignore red flags. People don’t change and you’ve go to trust your gut,” Cavallari said on the Call Her Daddy podcast. The Hills star also said that their relationship was toxic. 

Ellen Pompeo will appear in a “limited” capacity for season 19 of Grey’s Anatomy. According to E! News she will still be an executive producer and narrator for the medical drama. This update follows the news that Pompeo will produce and star in a new limited series for Hulu. 

 

SELENA GOMEZ is developing a WORKING GIRL REBOOT

Selena Gomez is developing a Working Girl reboot. According to Deadline Gomez is in final negotiations to produce the upcoming remake. Gomez reportedly will stay behind the scenes and has no plans to star in the movie. The 1988 movie starring Melanie Griffith, Sigourney Weaver and Harrison Ford grossed  over $100 million at the box office before earning six Oscar nominations — including one for Best Picture. 

Dane Cook is engaged to girlfriend Kelsi Taylor. The couple have been dating for 5 years. The comedian popped the question on July 13th. “I was so ready to ask her. I was completely zen about it,” Cook told People. “The evening of the proposal was incredibly beautiful, the weather was perfect, sunset was spectacular, and I was just quite simply very happy.”

Jersey Shore star Mike Sorrentino and his wife Lauren are expecting baby #2. The couple announced the happy news on social media writing “We have an amazing announcement!! We’re a growing family! Baby on the way, January 2023.” The pair are already parents to 14-month old Romeo.

STAR TREK ICON NICHELLE NICHOLS has DIED at the age of 89

Nichelle Nichols has died at the age of 89. Nichols is best known for her role as Lieutenant Uhura on the original “Star Trek” series. Her son Kyle Johnson announced her death online. According to Variety she died Saturday evening in Silver City, New Mexico. The Star Trek Icon became an advocate for NASA and space exploration.

Full House star Jodie Sweetin married boyfriend Mescal Wasilewski . According to People the couple tied the knot on Saturday in an intimate ceremony at a private home in Malibu. About 50 guests attended the wedding including her Full House co-stars John Stamos, Candace Cameron Bure and Andrea Barber. The pair have been together for five years. 

Taylor Armstrong is making Real Housewives history. The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star is making her return to the franchise. However she is changing cities and is the first “Housewife” to do so. She is  joining  the cast of The Real Housewives of Orange County for season 17. Taylor was part of the original “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” cast and held a diamond for three seasons from 2010 until 2013.

WILL SMITH APOLOGIZES on camera for the OSCAR SLAP

Will Smith posted a video on social media directly addressing the shocking moment he slapped Chris Rock on stage at the Oscars. Smith said that he reached out to Chris and was told that, “he’s not ready to talk and when he is, he will reach out.” The Men in Black star called his behavior “unacceptable,” and apologized directly to Chris and his mother. In the video, he also said that Jada didn’t tell him to do something in the moment. Smith added that it hurts him especially to know that he didn’t live up to peoples’ image and impression of him.

Johnny Depp made $3.6 million after releasing  prints of his artwork through the Castle Fine Art gallery in London. The Friends & Heros collection features four portraits of Bob Dylan, Elizabeth Taylor, Al Pacino and Keith Richards. Each limited edition portrait is listed for $3,973. The set of four sold for $15,040.”I’ve always used art to express my feelings, and to reflect on those who matter most to me, like my family, friends and people I admire,” Depp said in a statement shared by the gallery. The collection sold out almost immediately.

Star Trek: LOWER DECKS star DAWNN LEWIS paid tribute to NICHELLE NICHOLS at SDCC

Star Trek: Lower Decks star Dawnn Lewis paid tribute to  Nichelle Nichols at SDCC 2022. Lewis who voices Captain Freeman on the animated series described finding out that she would part of beloved franchise. Lewis went on describe how Nichols inspired her and how she cried upon meeting her. 

CHRIS ROCK says HE IS NOT A VICTIM

Chris Rock addressed the infamous Oscar slap by Will Smith during a recent comedy show at PNC Bank Arts Center in New Jersey. According to Us Weekly the comedian said he is not a victim, but joked that it hurt getting slapped by Smith on the Oscar stage. “Anyone who says words hurt has never been punched in the face,” Rock said, later adding, “I shook that shit off and went to work the next day. I don’t go to the hospital for a paper cut.”

Retta opened up about why Good Girls was canceled during her appearance on Live with Kelly and Ryan. When Kelly asked her if she could confirm that the show was really canceled the comedian responded, “We were very close to a fifth season, but one person ruined it for all of cast and crew and so it’s not back.” She told the hosts, “Trust me, Kelly! I’m salty! I was like, ‘OK, maybe there was a bomb scare at some point and then a bomb actually went off and that’s why that person’s gone.'”

Happy 100th birthday to Norman Lear. He revealed his birthday plans to USA Today. “My birthday will entirely consist of waking up in the morning to find my kids and grandkids there and spending the day together,” he said. “That’s it. Turning 100 has allowed me to already do a century of things.”
