RAY LIOTTA DIES at the age of 67

Ray Liotta has died at the age of 67. He passed away in his sleep in the Dominican Republic where he was filming the upcoming movie Dangerous Waters. Liotta’s memorable films include his breakthrough role in the mob classic “Goodfellas”. Liotta played real-life criminal Henry Hill opposite Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci. He scored a Golden Globe nomination for his role alongside Melanie Griffith in the 1986 action romance “Something Wild.” In 1989’s “Field of Dreams,” he portrayed “Shoeless Joe” Jackson. 

Liotta’s co-stars paid tribute to him on social media after the sad news broke. “Ray was my partner in crime on ‘Shades of Blue’ … the first thing that comes to mind is he was so kind to my children,” Jennifer Lopez  wrote. “Ray was the epitome of a tough guy who was all mushy on the inside … I guess that’s what made him such a compelling actor to watch. The original Goodfella.”  Robert De Niro, Lorraine Bracco, Jamie Lee Curtis, Aaron Egerton, and Charlie Day also posted tributes.  

 

MATTHEW McCONAUGHEY shares OUTRAGE at MASS SHOOTING in his HOMETOWN

Matthew McConaughey took to social media to express his outrage after the mass shooting that killed two teachers and 19 children in Uvalde, Texas on Tuesday. The Oscar winner was born in Uvalde. “Once again, we have tragically proven that we are failing to be responsible for the rights our freedoms grant us. The true call to action now is for every American to take a longer and deeper look in the mirror, and ask ourselves, ‘What is it that we truly value? How do we repair the problem? What small sacrifices can we individually take today, to preserve a healthier and safer nation, state, and neighborhood tomorrow?'”

Kate Moss testified in the Amber Heard and Johnny Depp trial on Wednesday morning. Moss finally shut down the rumors that Depp pushed her down the stairs. Moss appeared via video link from London. The supermodel said,”He never pushed me, kicked me or threw me down any stairs.” She explained that while they were on vacation at a resort in Jamaica she slid down stairs after a rainstorm. Depp who was in front of her rushed back to help her and got her medical attention. 

STEVEN TYLER checked himself into REHAB

Steven Tyler checked himself into rehab. “As many of you know, our beloved brother Steven has worked on his sobriety for many years,” his Aerosmith bandmates wrote in a joint statement. “After foot surgery to prepare for the stage and the necessity of pain management during the process, he has recently relapsed and voluntarily entered a treatment program to concentrate on his health and recovery.” The band has canceled the first part of their Las Vegas residency for the months of June and July. 

Mandy Moore gushed about her friendship with Hilary Duff. “Hilary is the coolest and she is a super-mom. She and Matt [Koma] have become really close friends with my husband [Taylor Goldsmith] and I,” Moore told InStyle. ” We had babies at the same time and she, being the super-mom that she is, formed a cool mom club. Somehow, I got invited into it and it’s the best.”

COURTNEY LOVE says JOHNNY DEPP SAVED HER LIFE

Courtney Love revealed that Johnny Depp once saved her from a drug overdose. “I don’t really wanna make judgments publicly. I just wanna tell you that Johnny gave me CPR in 1995 when I overdosed outside the Viper Room,” the singer said in a video posted on social media . Love also shared that Depp showed her daughter Frances Bean kindness while Love was struggling with addiction. The video that was posted on one of her friend’s accounts has since been taken down. Love addressed the video in a post on her Instagram account. “I engaged in expressing thoughts online. The platform accidentally posted a story I didn’t want public,” she wrote.

Cybil Shepherd expressed her support for her former Moonlighting co-star Bruce Willis at the annual Race to Erase MS gala in Los Angeles. “I just have to say one thing about Bruce. No one else was ever considered for the part when he walked in the room,” she told Extra. “I will always love Bruce,” Shepherd added. 

 

SELENA GOMEZ hints at ROMANCE on season two OF ONLY MURDERS

Selena Gomez was not going to confirm or deny the rumors that Cara Delevingne is playing her love interest in the new season of Only Murders in the Building. She told Extra, “Maybe,” adding, “I think the whole point of us being here is to get people excited about the next season without giving too much away.”

Taylor Swift received an honorary doctorate from New York University. The pop star received her honor while giving the commencement address for NYU’s class of 2022 at Yankee Stadium. “I would like to thank NYU for making me, technically, on paper at least, a doctor,” Swift said during her speech. “Not the type of doctor you would want around in case of an emergency, unless your specific emergency was that you desperately needed to hear a song with a catchy hook and an intensely cathartic bridge section, or if your emergency was that you needed a person who can name over 50 breeds of cats in one minute.”

Sean Diddy Combs clarified what his current name is during his appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. “What’s your name?” Ellen asked. “I decided that I am just going to go by the name Diddy.” Ellen then pointed out the he recently changed his legal name to Love. “See, Diddy is my nickname. Love is my real name. I just changed my name to Love,” the rapper explained. “Sean Love Combs, that’s what it says on my driver’s license, that’s my official name, Love.”

 

KOURTNEY and TRAVIS are OFFICIALLY MARRIED

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker are legally married. According to TMZ the couple tied the knot on Sunday in Santa Barbara, California. The pair were spotted at the courthouse downtown. Kourtney was wearing a short wedding dress and Travis was wearing an all black suit.  They drove off in a classic black lowrider convertible, which had a sign strapped to the grill that reads “JUST MARRIED.”

Britney Spears and Sam Asghari revealed in joint statement on Saturday that the pop star had suffered a miscarriage. “It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that we have lost our miracle baby early in the pregnancy,” the couple posted on social media.  Spears announced the pregnancy on April 11th. 

Jason Momoa is reportedly dating Eiza González. “They are dating. He cares about her. He’s in a great place, working on Fast X,” a source told People. Another source added, “They’re both busy with work but are having fun together. It’s nothing serious yet.” In April, Momoa attended the premiere of González’s film, Ambulance.

 

MICHELLE WILLIAMS is PREGNANT!

Michelle Williams is pregnant. “It’s totally joyous,” she told Variety, revealing she is expecting her third child in the fall. Williams and her husband Thomas Kail welcomed their first child together in 2020. She also revealed for the first time that her son’s name is Hart.  The Venom star is also a mom to her daughter Matilda from her relationship with Heath Ledger. 

Weeks after revealing that they have been “in and out” of the hospital Halsey gave her fans an update. The singer was diagnosed with multiple disorders. “I’ve been looking for answers to the root cause of some of these things, which may be an autoimmune disease. And I know I’ve had autoimmune issues for most of my life, especially having endometriosis.” Halsey reassured her fans that she “ was on a treatment plan” and was currently rehearsing for their upcoming tour.  

Kelly Ripa announced on Instagram that she tested positive for COVID-19 over the weekend. Ripa phoned into Live with Kelly and Ryan on Tuesday for a conversation with Ryan Seacrest and guest host Ali Wentworth. “I feel fine, thank you for checking,” she said. “I’m just irritated, Ali, as I’m sure you know. You can be as careful as you want; somehow, it found a way. I’m just really bummed out.”

 

KALEY CUOCO confirms new BOYFRIEND on INSTAGRAM

Kaley Cuoco is dating Ozark actor Tom Pelphrey. The Flight Attendant star made their relationship Instagram official with photos from their recent trip to the mountains. She captioned the photos “Life lately.” This is Cuoco first relationship since she split with her husband Karl Cook after three years of marriage in September 2021. 

Howie Mandel told Extra that is afraid to take the stage after Dave Chappell was attacked during his set at the Hollywood Bowl. “Watching what happened to Dave last night confirmed my fear,” Mandel said. “I was watching it kind of live on Twitter and I turned to my wife and I said, ‘I don’t want to. I don’t want to go on stage. I’m just really afraid.'” Mandel said he plans on touring less as a result of the incident. 

Joan Jett responded to Ted Nugent’s insults over her inclusion in David Fricke’s list of the 100 Greatest Guitarists published in 2010 in Rolling Stone. “You have to have s–t for brains and you have to be a soulless, soulless prick to [include] Joan Jett,” Nugent said in a video he posted to social media in December. In an interview with the NME about her new f acoustic album Jett responded saying is he implying,” That he should be on the list instead of me? Well, that’s just typical – it’s what I’ve dealt with my whole life, being written off.” Jett added “He’s not a tough guy. He plays tough guy, but this is the guy who s–t his pants – literally – so he didn’t have to go in the Army.” Nugent was not included on Fricke’s list, while Jett came in at number 87. 

 

BLAC CHYNA LOST her lawsuit against the KARDASHIAN JENNERS

Blac Chyna lost her defamation lawsuit against Kris, Kim, Khloe and Rob Kardashian and Kylie Jenner on Monday. The jury decided that no monetary damages should be award to her. Chyna was seeking $100 million claiming that the Kardashian-Jenners used their influence with E! to end her spinoff series Rob & Chyna. Her lawyer announced that they plan to appeal the verdict. 

Amber Heard’s motion to dismiss Johnny Depp’s $50 million lawsuit was rejected on Tuesday. The Judge said that sufficient evidence had been presented by Depp’s lawyers to keep the case going. Heard’s team will begin to present their witnesses on Tuesday afternoon. The actress is expected to take the stand

Zac Efron told Extra that he “would jump at the opportunity” to join the Marvel Universe. When Efron was asked if he would be interested in playing a superhero, he said, “I love the Marvel Universe… I’ve been a fan of Marvel since I, you know, started walking, so… if the right character comes along and, you know, they want me to jump in, I would.”

NAOMI JUDD dead at the age of 76 from MENTAL ILLNESS

Naomi Judd, half of the Grammy winning duo The Judds died at the age of 76. Her daughters Wynonna and Ashley announced her death in a statement on Saturday. “Today we sisters experienced a tragedy. We lost our beautiful mother to the disease of mental illness,” they wrote.  “We are shattered. We are navigating profound grief and know that as we loved her, she was loved by her public. We are in unknown territory.” Naomi’s daughters broke down in tears on Sunday as they inducted The Judds into the Country Music Hall of Fame. 

The original stars of That ’70s Show are set to reprise their roles for the upcoming spinoff series That ’90s Show for Netflix. Topher Grace, Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher, Wilmer Valderrama and Laura Prepon will all return in guest-starring roles. Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp will appear regularly as Red and Kitty. Danny Masterson will not be part of the series. 

Andy Cohen revealed that he welcomed his second child via surrogate on Friday. “HERE’S LUCY!!!!! Meet my daughter, Lucy Eve Cohen!,  he wrote on Instagram. “She’s 8 pounds 13 oz and was born at 5:13 pm in New York City!!! Her big brother can’t wait to meet her!”
