NAOMI JUDD dead at the age of 76

Naomi Judd, half of the Grammy winning duo The Judds has died at the age of 76. Her daughters Wynonna and Ashley announced her death in a statement on Saturday. “Today we sisters experienced a tragedy. We lost our beautiful mother to the disease of mental illness,” the sisters wrote.  “We are shattered. We are navigating profound grief and know that as we loved her, she was loved by her public. We are in unknown territory.” Naomi alongside her daughter Wyonna were scheduled to be inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame on Sunday. 

OLIVIA WILDE was served CUSTODY PAPERS on STAGE at CINEMACON

Olivia Wilde was served custody papers from Jason Sudeikis while she onstage at CinemaCon in Las Vegas. As Wilde was introducing a trailer for her upcoming movie, Don’t Worry Darling at the industry event a manila envelope marked “Personal and Confidential” was placed on the stage in front of her. “This is for me, right? Very mysterious. I’m going to open it now,” she said before glancing at its contents onstage. “Is this a script? OK, got it. Thank you.” The envelope contained custody papers concerning her two children with her ex. Sudeikis issued a statement to The Times on Wednesday about the incident. The Ted Lasso star said, “he would never condone her being served in such an inappropriate manner.”

Sharon Osbourne announced during an interview with Talk TV that Ozzy has been diagnosed with COVID-19. Sharon is currently in the UK filming her new show called The Talk. She said it was the first time her husband has gotten COVID. She is optimistic about his recovery saying,  “It’ll take me a week to get my old man back on his feet again, and I will be back in a week.”

ROBERT PATTINSON and THE BATMAN set for the SEQUEL

Robert Pattinson is set to return for a sequel to The Batman. Warner Bros. made the announcement  at its CinemaCon presentation. “Thank you all for your tremendous support for The Batman,” director Matt Reeves said. “We couldn’t have gotten here without the faith and enthusiasm of all your teams around the world. I’m excited to jump back into this world for the next chapter.”

Dr. Shannon Curry took the stand on Tuesday in the Johnny Depp and Amber Heard trial. Dr. Curry is a psychologist and evaluated Heard for 12 hours in December. She testified  that Amber has borderline personality disorder and histrionic personality disorder. Dr. Curry also said she saw no evidence of PTSD that Heard claimed she was suffering from.  

Halsey gave fans an update on their ongoing health struggles. “I have been in and out of the hospital for the past few weeks dealing with some new challenges,” the singer wrote on Instagram. “Chronic illness is a complex mystery. If I am or have been MIA please don’t take it personally,” they wrote. “I am doing the best I can under difficult circumstances.“

JESSICA BIEL opened up about her upcoming 10th WEDDING ANNIVERSARY

Jessica Biel opened up about her upcoming 10-year wedding anniversary with Justin Timberlake in a new interview with Access Hollywood. “I sometimes feel like 10 years has just flown by in the blink of an eye and other times I feel like: ‘Oh my gosh, 10 years, that’s a really substantial amount of someone’s life,’” she said. “We’ve had our ups and downs like everybody and I’m just really proud of it and I’m still the happiest, and loving my life.” 

Shailene Woodley and Aaron Rodgers are reportedly over again. “Shailene tried to give it another shot and was spending time with Aaron,” a source told E! News. “But she quickly saw that everything was on his terms and nothing was going to change.” The source added, “There was no reason to continue and she’s done with it again.”

It’s official Elon Musk is set to buy Twitter for $44 billion. “Free speech is the bedrock of a functioning democracy, and Twitter is the digital town square where matters vital to the future of humanity are debated,” the SpaceX founder said in a statement. He is the world’s richest person, according to Forbes magazine, with an estimated net worth of $273 billion.

BRITNEY is taking a SOCIAL MEDIA BREAK

Britney Spears revealed that she is taking a break from social media two weeks after she announced that she was expecting her third child. “I’m going on a social media hiatus for a little while!!!” the pop star wrote on Instagram. “I send my love and God bless you all.” 

Gwyneth Paltrow shared how she and her ex husband Chris Martin came up with their daughter’s name. Paltrow was asked by fans during an Instagram Q&A how they came up with Apple’s unique name. “Her dad came up with the name and I fell in love with it,” Gwyneth said. “I thought it was original and cool. I can’t imagine her being called anything else.” Paltrow had previously given Martin credit for Apple’s unique name. 

Robin Roberts opened up about her partner Amber Laign’s breast cancer battle during her appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres show. “I haven’t talked about it much, but with you, I will,” she said. “ I’m a puddle every time I think about what Amber is going through. But she is being so courageous and is handling it extremely well.” Roberts also reflected on her own cancer battle. “I didn’t realize how much I had blocked out during my journey, and it was because of sweet Amber … because she protected me and navigated for me,” Roberts said. “So, I’m doing the same thing for her.” 

BILL MURRAY’S film DELAYED after CLAIMS of INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR

Production on the movie Being Mortal has been delayed after an actor was accused of inappropriate behavior. Deadline reports that Bill Murray was named in the complaint. According to the outlet Searchlight Pictures sent an email to the film’s cast and crew explaining the delay.  “Late last week, we were made aware of a complaint, and we immediately looked into it. After reviewing the circumstances, it has been decided that production cannot continue at this time.” The nature of the complaint is unknown.

Kerry Washington will make her debut on The Simpsons this weekend. The Scandal star will lend her voice to Rayshelle Peyton, Bart’s new 4th grade teacher.  Washington replaces Bart’s teacher Edna Krabappel who’s character was retired in 2013 after voice actress Marcia Wallace’s death.

Kris Jenner took the stand on Thursday in Blac Chyna’s defamation trial against the Kardashians. Jenner testified that Chyna once threatened to kill Kylie Jenner. She testified that the allegations were based on “what Tyga and Kylie told her.” Jenner said that she didn’t have any evidence to back up the claim and never went to the police because she was keeping it “internal within our family.” 

MIKE TYSON filmed PUNCHING MAN on PLANE

A video of Mike Tyson punching a man on a plane has gone viral. The heavyweight champion is seen punching the man sitting behind him while waiting for his flight to depart from San Francisco. A witness told TMZ that Tyson was cordial to the passenger while boarding the flight and apparently told him later to settle down. Things got physical when the man would not stop talking in his ear.  Tyson reportedly walked off the plane a few minutes after the altercation. 

Jada Pinkett Smith is not ready to address Will Smith’s Oscars slap. During the season 5 premiere of Red Table Talk a statement appeared at the beginning of the episode. “Considering all that has happened in the last few weeks, the Smith family has been focusing on deep healing. Some of the discoveries around our healing will be shared at the table when the time calls,” the statement read. “Until then… the table will continue offering itself to powerful, inspiring and healing testimonies like that of our incredibly impressive first guest. AARON PAUL and his wife WELCOMED their SECOND CHILD TOGETHER

Aaron Paul and his wife, Lauren Parsekian, have welcomed their second child together. During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon the Breaking Bad star said   “Yes, a new baby boy. His name is Ryden and I love him.” He also revealed that his former co-star Bryan Cranston is Ryden’s godfather. 

Johnny Depp took the stand for the second day during his defamation trial with his ex-wife Amber Heard. Depp testified about their wedding day. He claimed Amber used drugs on that day. He said Amber was “quite fond” of MDMA and mushrooms. He was asked who was doing drugs at their wedding and replied, “Amber, a couple of friends of mine…All of her gang were all partaking in the MDMA.” Depp also revealed that his daughter Lily-Rose did not attend the wedding because, “She and Ms. Heard were not on particularly great terms, for several reasons.”

CODY SIMPSON opens up about MILEY CYRUS BREAK-UP

Cody Simpson opened up on The Kyle and Jacki O Show about his breakup from Miley Cyrus. “It was kind of a mutual decision between us knowing that we were going in different directions in our life,” he said. “I had just started training at that point. So, my life was changing and I knew I was going to have to move back to Australia to do it properly and professionally and she was just going into her whole new album and was gonna be going out on tour. It was a fork in the road kind of scenario really.”

Natasha Lyonne and Fred Armisen have called it quits after eight years together. Lyonne joked with The Hollywood Reporter that the two broke up because she wanted a swimming pool. “We love each other just about as much as two people can love each other and we’re still talking all the time, but Freddy doesn’t like a swimming pool,” Natasha said. 

VIOLA DAVIS was NERVOUS to play MICHELLE OBAMA

Viola Davis revealed she was nervous to take on the role of Michelle Obama in the upcoming anthology series The First Lady. “I’m glad it’s over!” Davis told Jimmy Kimmel about filming the series. “I mean, the stress. Because everybody likes… loves Michelle Obama. They know what she sounds like, they know what she looks like. And I’m like, ‘I don’t want Michelle Obama calling me, cussing me out.’”

Brooke Burke is not sure that Tyra Banks was the best choice to host Dancing With the Stars. “It’s tough. It’s a live show. And I know those live tapings are a struggle, you know, behind the scenes. You know, she’s a diva. Everybody knows that she’s a diva. There’s nothing wrong with that,” Burke said during her interview on Behind The Velvet Rope with David Yontef podcast. “I think that show requires a lot of compassion and loving kindness, especially as the host,” she continued. “So, I don’t really need to say it.”
