SANDRA BULLOCK is TAKING TIME OFF from ACTING

Sandra Bullock is taking a break from her career so she can focus on her family. “Right now, and I don’t know how long that will be, I need to be in the place that makes me happiest,” Bullock told Entertainment Tonight. “I take my job very seriously when I’m at work. It’s 24/7 and I just want to be 24/7 with my babies and my family.” The Oscar winner added, “We don’t know how long or how short, but that’s where I’m gonna be for a while.”

Traci Braxton has lost her battle with cancer. According to TMZ Braxton was surrounded by her sisters, mother and friends at the time of her passing. Traci starred alongside her sisters on Braxton Family Values on WE tv.

Bob Odenkirk would like to be more like Bob Saget. “I only met [Saget] one time and he really was a genuinely sweet guy who cared about other people,” The Better Call Saul star said on the Sunday Sitdown with Wille Geist podcast. “And you could have a brief conversation with him and feel very connected very quickly. I would like to try to be a little more like him as I move forward.”

DOLLY PARTON says NO THANK YOU to the ROCK & ROLL HALL OF FAME

Dolly Parton has taken herself out of the running for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s class of inductees for 2022. The country legend said in a statement on social media that while she was “extremely flattered and grateful” for the nomination, she didn’t feel she’d “earned that right.” Parton added, “I really do not want votes to be split because of me, so I must respectfully bow out.”

Daniel Radcliffe opened up to Entertainment Tonight about his transformation into Weird Al Yankovic for the upcoming biopic about his life. The Harry Potter star revealed that he,”grew the mustache, so the mustache was mine ‘cause I didn’t want to wear a fake on every day.” He also said that the wig was “pretty quick to get on and off.”

Kanye West and Pete Davidson’s feud intensified over the weekend. One of Davidson’s friends shared an intense text exchange between the two. Pete claimed he was in bed with Kim and defended her as “the best mother I’ve ever met.” 

ELON MUSK and GRIMES welcomed 2ND CHILD

Elon Musk and Grimes welcomed a second child together a few months ago. Grimes revealed the news in her interview with Vanity Fair after she was asked if there was another baby in her life when an infant was heard crying in the house . Grimes confirmed that the couple welcomed a baby girl in December via a surrogate. 

Selma Blair got a restraining order against her ex-boyfriend Ron Carlson. According to TMZ Carlson allegedly attacked the Sweetest Thing at her home on February 22nd. The outlet reports that court documents say that Carlson, “became enraged and lunged at [Blair], jumped on top of her body while she was lying on the sofa, grabbed her by the neck” and then “strangled her, throttling her and shaking her head and shoulders aggressively.”  Carlson was arrested for felony domestic  violence. He denies Blair’s account of the incident, and has filed a request for a protective order against Blair.

Nick Cannon’s talk show has been canceled . The Nick Cannon Show premiered on Fox and in syndication in September 2021. The show is is expected to wrap up its first and now only season in May, per Deadline.

 

COLIN FARRELL set to star in THE BATMAN spinoff THE PENGUIN for HBO

HBO Max has committed to a limited series order for The Penguin a spinoff from the hit film The Batman. Colin Farrell will reprise his role as Oswald Cobblepot. “The world that Matt Reeves created for The Batman is one that warrants a deeper gaze through the eyes of Oswald Cobblepot, ” Farrell said in a statement. “I couldn’t be more excited about continuing this exploration of Oz as he rises through the darkened ranks to become the Penguin. Will be good to get him back on the streets of Gotham for a little madness and a little mayhem.”

Tony Hawk revealed that he broke his leg on Monday. The skateboarding legend shared the news with his fans on social media. “Yesterday sucked,” Hawk said. “I broke my elbow 20 years ago and managed to make a full comeback; this recovery for a broken femur will be much harder because of its severity (and my age). But I’m up for the challenge.” 

Fans are going to have to wait a little longer for Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam. Johnson announced on Instagram that the release date for his highly anticipated superhero movie has been pushed back three months until October 21st of this year. 

COURTNEY COX doesn’t REMEMBER FILMING a lot of FRIENDS

Courtney Cox revealed that she does not remember filming many episodes of Friends. “I should’ve watched all 10 seasons because when I did the reunion and was asked questions, I was like, ‘I don’t remember being there,’” Cox said during an interview with Today. “I’m kinda bummed that we didn’t spend more time taking pictures. Because I don’t have a lot to look back at,” she added. “I see it on TV sometimes and I stop and go, ‘Oh my God, I don’t remember this at all. But it’s so funny.”

Amy Schumer is set to host the Oscars alongside Wanda Sykes and Regina Hall. The Trainwreck star opened up to Extra about the big night. “I’m going to get myself in some trouble as per the [usual]… Wanda, Regina are hilarious. And we’re having a blast preparing,” she told the outlet. “I don’t know who made the decision to let me personally be a host, but it’s not a good one… because it’ll burn all bridges. I’ll burn every bridge.” 

 

SURPRISE JOSH HARTNETT is MARRIED!!

Josh Hartnett and his longtime girlfriend Tamsin Egerton secretly tied the knot last year. A rep for the couple confirmed to Entertainment Tonight Canada that the couple were married in an intimate ceremony on November 5th in London. The two have been together for over a decade and have three children together. 

Angelina Jolie arrived in Yemen to aid refugees. “As we continue to watch the horrors unfolding in Ukraine, and call for an immediate end to the conflict and humanitarian access, I’m here in Yemen to support people who also desperately need peace,” Jolie said in a statement. “The situation here is one of the worst humanitarian crises in the world, with one civilian killed or injured every hour in 2022.” The Oscar winner has been a special envoy for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees since 2012.

Bill Cosby will remain a free man. The Supreme Court has declined to review the decision by Pennsylvania’s highest court to overturn Cosby’s conviction for drugging and sexually assaulting Andrea Constant in 2004. The comedian was released from prison in June after serving less than three years of his 10-year sentence. 

KIM KARDASHIAN is OFFICIALLY SINGLE

According to TMZ a judge granted Kim Kardashian’s request to become legally single. The outlet reported that Kardashian attended a court hearing on Tuesday via video conference while her estranged husband Kanye West was absent. He had previously challenged her request. Kardashian filed for divorce in February 2021 after nearly seven years of marriage.  

Chris Pine and Annabelle Wallis have reportedly split after almost four years together. A source told Entertainment Weekly that the pair “haven’t been together for a few months. The couple started dating in 2018 and kept their relationship very private so we don’t expect any formal announcement from them. 

Jason Momoa opened up about his relationship with Lisa Bonet. Momoa attended the premiere of The Batman to show support for his step-daughter, Zoë Kravitz who stars in the film as Catwoman. He hit the red carpet with his two children Lola and Naoka whom he shares with Bonet. “We’re just so proud,” the actor told Entertainment Tonight. “Lisa couldn’t be here so we’re representing, me and the babies.” He added,  “We’re very excited just to be here, It’s still family, you know?”

 

SEAN PENN is walking out of UKRAINE

Sean Penn is making his way out of Ukraine. “Myself & two colleagues walked miles to the Polish border after abandoning our car on the side of the road,” Penn tweeted along with a picture of himself walking with a huge line of cars along one side of the road. “Almost all the cars in this photo carry women & children only, most without any sign of luggage, and a car their only possession of value,” he added. Penn was last seen in Kivy at a press briefing on February 24th. The actor is filming a documentary with Vice Studios about the Russian invasion.

Warner Brothers has canceled the upcoming release of The Batman in Russia in response to the country’s invasion of Ukraine. The highly anticipated film starring Robert Pattinson  is just one of many films to have its Russian release canceled. Disney and Sony have announced they will also cancel scheduled releases in Russia.

Zendaya’s series Euphoria wrapped its second season on Sunday. According to Variety the finale has earned over 6 million viewers and the number is growing. Episodes are now averaging 16.3 million viewers.  Euphoria is now the second-most watched show “since 2004” on HBO, with the first being Game Of Thrones. Euphoria is the most tweeted TV show of the decade, per Twitter.

SELENA GOMEZ goes BAREFOOT at the SAG AWARDS

Selena Gomez thrilled her fans when she presented barefoot at the SAG awards Sunday night. Gomez had tripped earlier in the evening on the red carpet before the ceremony and she ditched her heels. When she walked on stage with her Only Murders in the Building co-star Martin Short to present the award for outstanding female actress she was barefoot.  

Awards season kicked off Sunday night with the Screen Actors Guild Awards. Will Smith took home the award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor for his performance in King Richard. Jessica Chastain won for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor for her role as Tammy Faye Baker in The Eyes of Tammy Faye. 

Maksim Chmerkovskiy is trying to leave Ukraine. The Dancing With the Stars pro has been in Kyiv since the beginning of the Russian invasion. He reveled on social media that he was arrested but did not share why. He went on to say that he was “all good” and was trying to make his way to the border. 

AMANDA BYNES files to END CONSERVATORSHIP

Amanda Bynes has filed to end her 9-year conservatorship. The former child star filed the documents in Los Angeles on Wednesday. Bynes was placed under the conservatorship in 2013 after several incidents of bizarre behavior.  

Maksim Chmerkovskiy is still in Kyiv and he posted a series of updates on social media. The Dancing with the Stars pro posted a video from a bomb shelter saying “I’m safe. We haven’t been told to move and I’m just following instructions. That’s all I can say.” In another  video he said he is not trying to leave Ukraine right now. 

Ashton Kutcher is one of many celebrities showing his support for Ukraine. He tweeted a simple message of support on Thursday writing, “I stand with Ukraine.” Kutcher’s wife Mila Kunis lived there when she was a child.
