Ben Affleck revealed that his kids can be his biggest critics during an interview by Matt Damon for Entertainment Weekly. When talking about Armageddon Affleck said, “It’s funny because that’s the one movie of mine that my kids have watched and they’ll kind of all admit to liking, even though they relentlessly mock it and me,” Affleck told Damon. “They won’t even watch The Town. So there you have it.”

According to her death certificate Betty White died from a stroke she had six days before she passed away on December 31st. The certificate states that the beloved actress died as the result of a cerebrovascular accident, the medical term for a stroke. A source told PEOPLE “It was a mild stroke. She died peacefully in her sleep.”

Jimmy Kimmel held back tears during his emotional tribute to Bob Saget. “Bob was the sweetest, he was the sweetest man, and the reason people wrote that is because it’s true. It’s the best word — if you had to pick one word to describe him, that was it: the sweetest,” Kimmel shared in his opening monologue Monday night .

FULL HOUSE star BOB SAGET dead at the age of 65

Full House star Bob Saget died Sunday at the age of 65. According to TMZ the comedian was found dead in his hotel room in Orlando, Florida. The Orange County Sheriff’s Office had no information on cause of death and said they” have found no signs of foul play or drug use in this case.”

 

SIDNEY POITIER dead at the age of 94

Legendary actor Sidney Poitier has passed away at the age of 94. The news of his death was announced by Bahamas Minister of Foreign Affairs Fred Mitchell. The trailblazing actor was the first Black man to receive the Academy Award for Best Actor in 1963. He took home the award for his role as Homer Smith in Lilies of the Field.  President Obama awarded him the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2009. His career spanned 71-years and included iconic roles in classic films including,  “A Raisin in the Sun,” “Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner” and “In the Heat of the Night.”

Nicolas Cage and his wife Riko Shibata are expecting their first child together. “The parents-to-be are elated!” a rep for the couple told People. This is Cage’s 5th marriage and is already a father to two sons from previous relationships

James Corden is that latest late night host to announce that he has COVID-19. “I just tested positive for COVID 19,” Corden wrote on social media. “I’m fully vaccinated, boosted, and because of this, am fortunate enough to say I feel completely fine.” Jimmy Fallon and Seth Meyers also announced they tested positive earlier this week. 

ZENDAYA teased fans about TOM HOLLAND making a cameo in EUPHORIA

Zendaya teased with Extra about her boyfriend Tom Holland making a cameo on the second season of Euphoria. When asked what her character Rue is carrying in the suitcase in the trailer, Zendaya responded, “I cannot tell you.” That’s when the interviewer suggested it might be Holland.  Zendaya joked “He pops out. That’s the big spoiler.”

Selena Gomez’s 30th birthday is 6 months away but she is looking forward to the milestone. “I love growing up,” Gomez told People. “When I was younger, I was scared of it, and I thought by now my life would look so different. But now I’m like, ‘Wow, this is not what I ever expected, and I couldn’t be more thrilled.’ I’ve stopped caring about what people have to say, and that’s been wonderful.”

Denzel Washington was worried about Chadwick Boseman’s health while they were filming his final film, Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom.  “He made the movie, and nobody knew. I didn’t know,” Washington told Variety. “He never said a peep about it. He just did his job.” Boseman was fighting a secret battle with colon cancer. “I wondered if something was wrong because he seemed weak or tired sometimes,” he continued. “We had no idea, and it was nobody’s business. Good for him, keeping it to himself.”

 

OZARK SEASON 4 drops new TRAILER

OZARK season 4 is two weeks away and we are so excited. Netflix dropped a new trailer and it is action packed. The fourth and final Season of Ozark will premiere in two parts consisting of seven episodes each. Part 1 of Ozark  season 4 premieres Jan. 21. A premiere date for part 2 has not yet been released.

VALERIE BERTINELLI reveals FINAL words to EDDIE Van Halen

Valerie Bertinelli revealed the last words that Eddie Van Halen said to her before he died from cancer in October 2020. “I loved Ed more than I know how to explain,” she wrote in an excerpt from her upcoming memoir shared by People. Bertinelli recalled the final moments she and their son, Wolfgang, spent with the late rock star . “‘I love you’ are the last words Ed says to Wolfie and me,” Bertinelli wrote “and they are the last words we say to him before he stops breathing.”

Chris Evans could be stepping into some legendary dancing shoes for his next role. According to Deadline the Captain America star is in talks to play Gene Kelly in an upcoming film. The project is based on an original idea from Evans about a 12-year-old boy who works on the MGM Lot and develops an imaginary friendship with the Singin’ In The Rain star while working on his latest movie. 

Footage of Chris Noth reuniting with Sarah Jessica Parker has been cut from the Season 1 finale of the Sex and the City revival,  And Just Like That. According to TVLine Noth was set to appear in a fantasy segment while Carrie was in Paris scattering Big’s ashes. The decision comes three weeks after multiple woman accused him of sexual assault.

The makers of HBO Max’s reunion special, Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts, accidentally swapped in a childhood photo of Emma Roberts for Emma Watson. It was a detailed Harry Potter fan who spotted the mistake and of course took to Twitter to share with everyone. “That’s literally Emma Roberts not Emma Watson,” the fan tweeted. The producers of the reunion quickly released a statement about the mix up. “Well spotted Harry Potter fans!” the statement read. “You brought an editing mistake of a mislabeled photograph to our attention. New version up shortly.”

CNN addressed Andy Cohen’s drunken New Years Eve comments about Ryan Seacrest.  “Andy said something he shouldn’t have on live tv. We’ve addressed it with him and look forward to having him back again next year,” CNN said in a statement. Cohen has co-hosted CNN’s New Year Eve coverage with Anderson Cooper  since 2017. 

Sandra Bullock’s reaction to her former co-star Betty White’s death was perfection, “I don’t drink vodka … but I will tonight — on ice, with a slice of lemon with a hot dog on the other side and just be OK being sad,” Bullock said in a statement to People, referencing White’s favorite food and beverage. “I’ll have to buy some rose-colored glasses because Betty was that for all of us.”

 

BETTY WHITE died of NATURAL CAUSES at the age of 99

Hollywood Icon Betty White passed away on Friday morning at the age of 99.  The comedian’s agent revealed more details about her death on Monday. “Betty died peacefully in her sleep at her home,” he said in a statement. He also shut down the rumors that The Golden Girls’ star died right after she got her booster shot for COVID-19. “People are saying her death was related to getting a booster shot three days earlier but that is not true. She died of natural causes. Her death should not be politicized — that is not the life she lived.”

Ricki Lake is married. The Hairspray star announced that she and Ross Burningham tied the knot on social media. “We did it! 1/2/22 Ross and I said I DO!”, Lake wrote on Instagram along with three photos from the ceremony. Lake announced her engagement in February 2021. 

Whoopi Goldberg has a breakthrough case of COVID-19. Her co-host Joy Behar announced the news on The View. “Since she’s vaxxed and boosted, her symptoms have been very, very mild, but we’re being super-cautious here,” Behar said on Monday. She predicted that Whoopi would probably return “next week.”

 

BETTY WHITE has DIED at the age of 99

Hollywood Icon Betty White passed away on Friday morning at the age of 99. White died at her home in California. The Golden Girls’ star was set to celebrate her 100th birthday on January 17th. White was born in Oak Park, Illinois in 1922 and started her showbiz career during the 1940s.  Over several decades, White starred in several series including The Mary Tyler Moore Show and later The Betty White Show. In 1985, White began her iconic role as Rose in The Golden Girls, which ran until 1992. She won five Emmy awards for her work in television.RIP

Arnold Schwarzenegger and MARIA SHRIVER officially DIVORCE

Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver are officially divorced more than 10 years after their breakup. A judge signed off on their final judgement in December. According to TMZ the property settlement is confidential but pretty much split down the middle. Shriver filed for divorce after 25-years of marriage citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. 

Taylor Swift wants the lawsuit accusing her of stealing the lyrics to Shake It Off from 3LW’s Playas Gon’ Play dismissed. Her attorneys filed documents asking a federal judge to reconsider his decision to let the the case go to trial. Judge Michael Fitzgerald has not ruled on the request if he denies it the case will most likely go to trial unless Swift settles out of court. 

Hugh Jackman is the latest celebrity to announce that he has COVID-19. “I just wanted to make sure you heard this from me. I tested positive for covid,” the Tony winner posted on social media. “Mild symptoms and looking forward to getting back on stage ASAP!” Jackman is set to str in the upcoming revival of The Music Man on Broadway opening in February.
