JASON MOMOA confirms he was INJURED filming AQUAMAN 2

Jason Momoa revealed that he injured himself while filming Aquaman 2. Ellen DeGeneres asked him about the rumors that he’d hurt himself while filming, Momoa confirmed that he had a few injuries. “I messed up my eyes. I just got something in it that kinda cut it up, and then I’ve gotta get surgery, I have a hernia, I’ve got ribs out. I’m just getting beat up,” Momoa said. He then joked that he was, “an aging superhero right now.”

Melissa Joan Hart made history on Celebrity Wheel of Fortune on Sunday. The “Sabrina the Teenage Witch” star is the first celebrity to win the grand prize of $1 million on the game show. She played for the charity Youth Villages. “They serve families and children across 23 different states in every kind of level, going through foster care and aging out of foster care especially,” Hart said of the charity.

Alicia Silverstone opened up about her history with dating apps during her appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show. “A few years ago I tried to get on one of the dating apps and I put a fake profile because I wasn’t comfortable yet being me,” Silverstone said. “And then I got kicked off, I got banned.” Silverstone did not specify what app she had used. She added that she created a new profile as herself and was kicked off again. 

KANYE WEST is now officially just YE

Kanye West has legally changed his name to “Ye”. West filed the petition to change his name less than two months ago. On Monday Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Michelle Williams signed off on the new name. Ye has been a nickname used by the rapper for years but now it is officially his legal name. Just Ye no middle or last name.

Taylor Swift is among the presenters for the 2021 inductions for the Rock and Roll Hall of fame. She is set to help induct Carole King and will perform alongside Jennifer Hudson. Paul McCartney will do the honors for the Foo Fighters. Drew Barrymore will induct The Go-Go’s.

Jamie Foxx said he is not interested in getting married. He told Daily Pop there’s a “whole lot of love” in his family and he just doesn’t need the “pressure” of being married. The traditional, “cookie cutter” lifestyle never appealed to him. “The 2.5 children, the wood paneling on the station wagon and the cottage, I didn’t think that was for me,” Foxx revealed. He credits his decision to never marry as strengthening his bond with his two daughters Corrine  and Annalise.

KOURTNEY KARDASHIAN and TRAVIS BARKER are ENGAGED

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker are engaged. Kardashian posted photos on Sunday of herself and the Blink-182 drummer amid a circle of roses on a beach, she captioned the post “forever.” Barker commented “FOREVER” on the post. According to TMZ he proposed in Montecito, California on Sunday. Her famous family and friends shared their support and congratulated the couple on social media. 

Mel Gibson is set to star in The Continental, the Starz prequel to the John Wick franchise. The Continental is a special TV event that  will explore the origin behind the hotel-for-assassins, which has become the centerpiece of the John Wick universe. Gibson will play a character named Cormac.

Sean Penn and Leila George are calling it quits after one year of marriage. George filed for divorce on Friday in Los Angeles. The couple tied the knot in July 2020 and dated on and off since 2016. This is Penn’s third divorce. 

WILLIAM SHATNER is the OLDEST PERSON to go to SPACE

William Shatner became the oldest person in space on Wednesday. The 90-year-old Star Trek star lifted off aboard Blue Origin’s New Shepard rocket for an 11-minute spaceflight. An emotional Shatner said, “Everybody in this world needs to do this,” after he landed back on earth. “I’m so filled with emotion about what just happened. It’s extraordinary, extraordinary. I hope I can maintain what I feel now. I don’t want to lose it. It’s so much larger than me and life.”

Rapper Tyga was arrested in a felony domestic violence investigation on Tuesday. Tyga’s girlfriend Camaryn Swanson shared photos of herself with a black eye on social media. She claims she has been “emotionally, mentally and physically abused.” Tyga was released after posting $50,000 in bail.

Howie Mandel was rushed to the hospital after passing out at a Starbucks in Los Angeles. According to TMZ the comedian was there with his wife and friends when he suddenly passed out and fell over. He was able to sit up by the time paramedics arrived at the scene. A source close to Mandel told TMZ that they believe he fainted due to low blood sugar and say doctors are running tests to be sure.

Writer, Director DANNY STRONG talks DOPESICK

Danny Strong talks about his latest project Dopesick which tells the story of America’s opioid crisis and big pharma’s role. He spent three years researching and writing or co-writing all but one episode of the eight part Hulu miniseries. Dopesick draws in part on journalist Beth Macy’s nonfiction book of the same name. What he learned was shocking. Three episodes debut October 13th on Hulu, with the rest to be released weekly. In our opinion this is a must watch!

JARED LETO gassed in ITALY

Jared Leto said he was tear gassed in Italy. “Got caught in a protest in Italy . From what I gather it was about vaccine mandates/green pass,” Leto posted on his Instagram story. “Got teargassed then called it a night.”

Megan Fox revealed that she suffered from body dysmorphia in an interview for British GQ. “I have a lot of deep insecurities,” she said.  “”We may look at somebody and think, ‘That person’s so beautiful. Their life must be so easy.’ They most likely don’t feel that way about themselves.”

Whoopi Goldberg responded to Barbara Corcoran’s apology for fat shaming her during her appearance on The View. The Shark Tank star wrote on social media, “I made a joke at Whoopi’s expense, which I now realize wasn’t funny.” TMZ caught up with Goldberg in New York City and she made it clear that there are no hard feelings and that she was not offended by the joke.

MACHINE GUN KELLY will NOT face CRIMINAL CHARGES

Machine Gun Kelly will not face criminal charges for allegedly pushing a man. According to TMZ the rapper was accused of pushing a parking lot attendant while he was filming on location in Los Angeles. John Martin Tilli alleged that Kelly and his crew became aggressive and surrounded him. The L.A. City Attorney’s Office rejected the case due to lack of evidence. 

Nicki Minaj confirmed that she will be taking part in the Real Housewives of Potomac reunion. The singer shared a photo of herself with Andy Cohen on the set of the upcoming special. The rapper’s appearance comes after she asked to host the reunion on social media in late July, to which Cohen replied at the time, “I want to see this!”

Woody Harrelson punched a man who allegedly refused to stop taking photos of him and his daughter. The police responded to a “reported assault” at the rooftop bar of the Watergate Hotel in Washington D.C. on Wednesday night.  The Cheers star reportedly asked the man to delete the pictures  and then the man lunged at him. Harrelson is not under investigation but charges are pending against the aggressor. 

SHANNEN DOHERTY wins $6.5 MILLION in LAWSUIT against State Farm

Shannen Doherty won her lawsuit against State Farm and was awarded over $6 million in damages. The Beverly Hills 90210 star sued the insurance company after it refused to pay for repairs on her Malibu home which was damaged in the Woolsey Fire in 2018. The verdict covers damages to her home, personal property, emotional distress and attorney fees. 

Elijah Wood appeared on Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert podcast on Monday. Shepard said he loved the story about how the Lord of the Rings films almost did not get made. Miramax  controlled by Harvey Weinstein at the time originally had the rights to the Tolkien books. Peter Jackson asked  if he could shop them around to other studios. Weinstein said yes but gave him two seemingly impossible conditions. Of course Jackson did land at another studio and the films were made. Wood then shared a story about how Sean Astin had told him that “one of the orc masks was designed to look like Harvey Weinstein as a sort of a fuck you.” 

Keshia Knight Pulliam and Brad James are married. The couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony late last month. The Cosby Show star revealed the happy news on Instagram sharing photos from the special day captioned, “Last week my life forever changed … I married my best friend at our home surrounded by family & it was magical!!!”

GEORGE CLOONEY & BEN AFFLECK talk WORKING TOGETHER

George Clooney and Ben Affleck both attended the premiere of their new movie The Tender Bar in Los Angeles. Clooney directed the film and Affleck stars in it. The two have never appeared on the big screen together. When asked if he would like to Affleck told Entertainment Today that he would “love to.” Clooney joked, “I think it would be too much sexy for one screen. Because he’s a one-time sexiest man.”

Rami Malek says that No Time to Die got royal approval. Malek opened up about his experience at the London premiere of the new James Bond Film during an appearance on Daily Pop on Monday.  “I sat right behind them in the royal box,” he said. “I was watching Prince William’s reaction. You can see a lot from what someone’s body language was doing. I think they loved the film. That was the impression I got.”  

Just months after announcing their engagement Taryn Manning and Anne Cline have reportedly called it quits. According to Us Weekly the Orange is the New Black star ended the relationship in late August. A source told the magazine that Manning has “moved on and is happy in a new relationship.” 

BRITNEY SPEARS WINS BIG in COURT

Britney Spears had a big win in court on Wednesday. A court ruled that her father Jamie Spears would be suspended at once from the singer’s conservatorship. “Suspension is in the best interests of Britney Spears,” Judge Brenda Penny told the court. The judge also ordered control of all of Spears’ assets to be turned over to a court-appointed temporary conservator named John Zabel. Judge Penny further maintained that her ruling is not appealable.

Melissa Joan Hart shot down rumors that a Sabrina the Teenage Witch reboot was in the works. “Sorry witches,” she wrote on Instagram. “Someone made some fantastic looking art work and even some of our cast and crew believed the viral posts but NO, we have no reboot planned.” The popular series debuted in 1996 and air for seven seasons. 

Shakira revealed on Instagram that she was attacked by two wild boars. “They’ve destroyed everything,” the singer said of the attack which happened while she was at an unnamed park in Barcelona with her 8-year-old son. “They were taking my bag to the woods with my mobile phone in it.” Thankfully Shakira and her son were not harmed during the incident.
