TAYLOR SWIFT was a BRIDESMAID at LENA DUNHAM’S WEDDING

Taylor Swift was a bridesmaid at Lena Dunham’s surprise  wedding in London to Luis Felber. Taylor has been friends with the Girls star for years. A source at the wedding told The Sun that, “Taylor showed up for Lena and gave a really sweet speech celebrating them as a couple and congratulating them.”

Khloe Kardashian tried  to clear up those rumors that she is banned from the Met Gala on social media. “Khloe now that you are online please tell [if] the met gala rumors are true,” a fan wrote on Twitter. The reality star responded, “Absolutely NOT True.”  Khloe and her sister Kourtney have never attended the celebrity filled event. Kim, Kendall and Kylie have all attended the Gala on multiple occasions along with their mother Kris. 

Rita Moreno opened up to Variety about her amazing career. The West Side Story icon will turn 90 in December. She is set to return to the screen in Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story remake. She has a small role and also serves as as an executive producer.  “I love what I do,” she told the magazine. “The only way I can retire is if I can’t walk. And even then, there’s always a wheelchair — or roller skates.”

LORI LOUGHLIN is set to RETURN TO ACTING

Lori Loughlin is set to make her return to acting. Loughlin will reprise her popular Hallmark Channel character Abigail Stanton. She was last seen on TV as Abigail in Season 6 of the hit series When Calls the Heart before she was let go over the college admission scandal. The Full House star will appear in When Hope Calls a spinoff of the Hallmark series on a new network, GAC Family. She will take part in the Season 2 premiere. 

Mila Kunis discussed the uproar about her bathing habits  during her appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. “We bathe our dogs, does that make people happy?”  Kunis said. “I wake up every day and I’m like, ‘Today I am going to shower my kids.’ And then bedtime happens, and I forgot to feed them,”she joked. “It was COVID! Who showered in COVID? We didn’t leave the house! Who cares?”

Zac Brown Band announced that it’s canceling four performances. “To all our fans, I have made the very difficult decision to pause Zac Brown Band’s ‘The Comeback Tour.’ Despite taking precautions, I’ve tested positive for COVID-19. I am deeply disappointed this has happened, as touring is our life and performing live for our fans is the best part of our job,” Brown shared on Instagram. 

MICHAEL K. WILLIAM’S CAUSE OF DEATH released

Michael K. Williams’ cause of death has been released. New York City’s medical examiner revealed on Friday that Williams died of acute intoxication from a lethal combination of fentanyl, p-fluorofentanyl, heroin, and cocaine. The actor’s death has been ruled as accidental. The Wire star was found dead in his Brooklyn apartment on September 6th. 

Simone Biles opened up about how it all became “too much” for her in an interview with  Time Magazine. “I should have quit way before Tokyo,” Biles shared. “”When Larry Nassar was in the media for two years. It was too much. But I was not going to let him take something I’ve worked for since I was 6 years old. I wasn’t going to let him take that joy away from me. So I pushed past that for as long as my mind and my body would let me.”

In a recent interview on the Morning Meeting podcast Anderson Cooper shared that he will be following in his Mother’s footsteps when it comes to money with his one-year-old son, Wyatt. “I don’t believe in passing on huge amounts of money. I don’t know what I’ll have . . . don’t intend to have some sort of pot of gold for my son.” He went on to explain that he’ll probably do what his parents did for him, “college will be paid for and then you’ve got to get on it.”

 

OZARK SEASON 4 FIRST LOOK

The first footage from OZARK’S upcoming fourth and final season was unveiled at Netflix’s “TUDUM” global fan event on Saturday. It picks up with Wendy and Marty still reeling from that Season 3 cliffhanger that found Navarro blowing Helen’s head off right in front of them. No official premiere date for Ozark has been released yet, but we know Season 4 is coming in 2022. Bateman confirmed during TUDUM that the show is still in production and the super-sized season will come in two parts, with seven episodes in each season.

R. KELLY GUILTY FACES DECADES in PRISON

R. Kelly was found guilty of racketeering and sex trafficking. Jurors deliberated for just nine hours to reach their verdict, finding Kelly guilty on all counts. He now faces decades in prison and is scheduled to be sentenced May 4, 2022.

WILLIAM SHATNER is headed to SPACE on JEFF BEZOS’ ROCKET

William Shatner is reportedly going to space in Jeff Bezos’ rocket. According to TMZ Shatner who is famous for his role as Captain Kirk in Star Trek will  become the oldest person to be launched into space. Shatner who is 90-years-old is scheduled for an upcoming civilian flight of Blue Origin’s New Shepard rocket in October. The outlet also claimed that Shatner’s trip is being filmed for a documentary. 

Tom Felton collapsed while playing in the Ryder Cup celebrity golf tournament on Thursday. The Harry Potter star who is and avid golfer was taken away on a stretcher from the 18th hole. No official word on what happened but he was taken to a local hospital for treatment. A friend of Felton’s posted on social media that he was “okay.”

Elon Musk and Grimes are calling it quits after dating for three years. “We are semi-separated but still love each other, see each other frequently and are on great terms,” he told Page Six. “It’s mostly that my work at SpaceX and Tesla requires me to be primarily in Texas or traveling overseas and her work is primarily in LA.” The couple have a one-year-old son.

 

SARAH JESSICA PARKER is mourning the loss of WILLIE GARSON

Sarah Jessica Parker is mourning the loss of her Sex and the City co-star Willie Garson. The two played best friends on the HBO series. Garson passed away on Tuesday after a battle with cancer. Parker has not posted a tribute to the actor on social media like many of her co-stars have. Chris Noth posted a photo of Parker and Garson together captioned, “Willie with heart emojis.” Parker commented on the post with, “Thank you dearest Chris. I’m not ready yet.” 

NBC announced the first four guest hosts for Saturday Night Live’s next season. The first host  will be Owen Wilson. Kim Kardashian will host the show for the first time on October 9th. Rami Malek will also make his hosting debut in October. Former SNL cast member Jason Sudeikis will return to show for the first time as a host to round out October. 

Debra Messing has some thoughts on Saturday Night Live’s choice of hosts. “Why Kim Kardashian? I mean, I know she is a cultural icon, but SNL has hosts, generally, who are performers who are there to promote a film, TV show, or album launch,” Messing wrote. “Am I missing something?” Fans were quick to respond on both sides some supporting Kardashian and others agreed with Messing. 

UMA THURMAN recounts her ABORTION as a TEEN

Uma Thurman shared her personal abortion story  in an op-ed for the Washington Post criticizing the Texas abortion law. “I have nothing to gain from this disclosure, and perhaps much to lose,” the Pulp Fiction star wrote. Thurman explained that she was “accidentally impregnated by a much older man” while in her teens.  After talking with her parents, Thurman made the  decision to have an abortion.  “We decided as a family that I couldn’t go through with the pregnancy, and agreed that termination was the right choice. My heart was broken nonetheless.”

Nicole Richie accidentally lit her hair on fire blowing out the candles on her birthday cake. Richie celebrated her 40th birthday on Tuesday and in a video she posted on Instagram she is sitting at a table with her birthday cake in front of her.  She leans in to blow out the candles and as she pulls back from cake her hair was on fire, someone next to her batted out the flames.

Meghan Trainor opened up about her experience with panic disorder in an interview with People. The singer recalled her first panic attack on live television. “I was announcing the [Grammy] nominees, and I was vibrating. I felt like I was going to pass out on live television. I was like, ‘What’s happening? I must be dying,” Trainor said. Her symptoms placed her in the hospital multiple times before a doctor finally provided a diagnosis . ”I’m not ashamed to say I’m on antidepressants. That medicine saved me, saved my life, saved my career. I’m back better than ever.”

 

BRIAN AUSTIN GREEN & SHARNA BURGESS debut on DANCING WITH THE STARS

Brian Austin Green and Sharna Burgess made Dancing with the Stars history on  Monday night as they hit the dance floor as a couple. The pair have been dating for nearly a year. “I’m doing Dancing with the Stars because of my girlfriend Sharna,” Green told the cameras, while Burgess said, “I am unbelievably excited to share with him something I love so deeply.”

Firetrucks and an ambulance responded to Will Smith and Jada Pinkett  Smith’s Calabasas home on Monday. A spokesperson for LA County Fire confirmed Tuesday that there had been a “structure fire” that caused “smoke damage” at the address. “They are all fine and in the home. A fire broke out in the basement, and a fireman was treated, but everyone is fine,” a source close to the family told  Page Six.

Adam Devine is set to star in a Pitch Perfect series for Peacock. He will  revive his character Bumper Allen from the film franchise. According to Variety the series is set several years after the events of the films. Devine returns as Bumper, who moves to Germany to revive his music career when one of his songs becomes big in Berlin. Devine will also executive produce  alongside Elizabeth Banks, who appeared in and produced the Pitch Perfect trilogy, as well as directed the second movie.

BEN AFFLECK is in AWE of JENNIFER LOPEZ

Ben Affleck is “in awe of Jennifer Lopez. Affleck gushed over Lopez in a new interview with Adweek . “I am in awe of what Jennifer’s effect on the world is. At most, as an artist, I can make movies that move people. Jennifer has inspired a massive group of people to feel they have a seat at the table in this country. That is an effect few people throughout history have had, one I will never know and one I can only stand by and admire with respect.”

Amy Schumer revealed that she is recovering from surgery. It’s the morning after my surgery for endometriosis and my uterus is out,” she said in a video on Instagram. “The doctor found 30 spots of endometriosis he removed. He removed my appendix because the endometriosis had attacked it.”

Chris Rock announced Sunday that he had tested positive for Covid-19. The comedian wrote on Twitter, “Hey guys I just found out I have COVID, trust me you don’t want this. Get vaccinated.” Rock told Jimmy Fallon back in May the he had received  the Johnson and Johnson vaccine.
