RYAN GOSLING speaks out about MARGOT and GRETA OSCAR SNUBS

Ryan Gosling spoke out after fans questioned why his Barbie costar Margot Robbie and director Greta Gerwig were not nominated in their individual Oscar categories. Gosling was nominated on Tuesday in the supporting actor category for his portrayal of Ken.  “I am extremely honored to be nominated by my colleagues alongside such remarkable artists in a year of so many great films. And I never thought l’d being saying this, but I’m also incredibly honored and proud that it’s for portraying a plastic doll named Ken. But there is no Ken without Barbie, and there is no Barbie movie without Greta Gerwig and Margot Robbie, the two people most responsible for this history-making, globally-celebrated film. “ The movie over all got eight Oscar nominations.  

Valerie Bertinelli said that she s “hurt” after being let go from her role as a host of the Food Network series, Kids Baking Championship.  “I’ve been avoiding facing what I got confirmation for last night,” Bertinelli said on Instagram. “It really hurt my feelings, and I know it’s not supposed to. Logically, I know that it’s business, budget cuts.right? But it really hurt my feelings to know that I’m not gonna be asked back to be on Kids Baking Championship. It really sucks.” She has served as a co-host on the show since 2015.

TOP GUN #3 is in the WORKS

Tom Cruise is getting ready to reprise his iconic role as Maverick for a third installment of Top Gun. A script for movie #3 in the franchise is in the works at Paramount. The film is in very early stages of development,  for the sequel which will follow 2022’s “Top Gun: Maverick” and the original “Top Gun” from 1986, a source told CNN.

Harrison Ford was honored with a career achievement award at the Critics Choice Awards on Sunday night. “I’m here because of a combination of luck and the work of wonderful writers, directors and filmmakers. I feel enormously lucky. I’m happy for this honor, and I appreciate it very much,” Ford said in his acceptance speech. Ford then took a moment to pay tribute to his wife. “I want to thank my lovely wife, Calista Flockhart, who supports me when I need a lot of support,” he said. “And I need a lot of support.”

Neve Campbell told IndieWire that she would be open to returning for a seventh installment of Scream under “the right circumstance.” Campbell originated the role of Sidney Prescott in 1996’s Scream and appeared in 4 sequels before leaving the franchise in 2022. She announced that her departure from the franchise was over pay disparity. 

JENNIFER LAWrence asked ROBERT DE NIRO to LEAVE her WEDDING REHEARSAL DINNER

Jennifer Lawerence revealed that she asked Robert De Niro to leave her wedding rehearsal dinner. “I looked over and I saw Bob, who doesn’t know anybody and he’s kind of wandering around, and I immediately was like, ‘No, this isn’t what he wants to be doing. I don’t want him here,’” she told E! News. “So I went over and whispered, I was like, ‘Go home’ and he was nice — he like talked to my parents and was polite — but I was like, ‘Go,’” she continued. De Niro complied and Lawrence said, “That just genuinely made me feel better.”

Jason Sudeikis sparked new romance rumors. The Ted Lasso star  was spotted getting cozy with actress Elsie Hewitt after a night out at the Bird Streets Club in West Hollywood. The pair were seen hugging outside of the club. Hewitt was recently dating Benny Blanco who is now with Selena Gomez.

SELENA GOMEZ to PROTRAY LINDA RONSTADT

Selena Gomez is set to portray Linda Ronstadt in an upcoming biopic. “It all started with a simple dream,” Ronstadt wrote in an Instagram post on Wednesday confirming the news by sharing a post from Variety about the upcoming feature. Gomez shared a photo on an Instagram story of Ronstadt’s memoir, “Simple Dreams.” The biopic is currently in pre-production, with Ronstadt’s manager, John Boylan, and James Keach co-producing

Jeremy Renner returned to the set of Mayor of Kingstown. The series began filming its third season in Pittsburgh. Renner had been recovering from a near fatal snowplow accident. “Day one on set … nervous today,” Renner wrote on Instagram on Wednesday. “Hope this works out that I can ACTUALLY pull this off for our production and more importantly the fans.”

Michael Strahan and his 19-year-old daughter Isabella opened up for the first time about her brain tumor diagnosis. They both appeared on “Good Morning America” with Robin Roberts and   revealed that Isabella underwent a brain scan in October and learned she had a medulloblastoma tumor. Isabella had emergency surgery the day before her 19th birthday. She went thru rehabilitation where she learned how to walk again. She underwent six weeks of radiation and the next step will be chemotherapy in February. The college freshman wanted to share her story so she could help other people. 

SHANNA MOAKLER CALLS OUT EX Travis Barker and THE KARDASHIANS

Travis Barker’s ex Shanna Moakler called out the Kardashian family for driving a wedge between her and her children. “You’re disgusting. I removed myself so that they couldn’t bond with my children over hating me,” Moakler said of the Kardashian-Jenner clan.“When Travis got with Kourtney, there was some parental alienation going on there.” Moakler added that she can’t give them all the “big stuff” that Barker and the Kardashians can. “I think there was a lot of glitter and fame and they watched them on TV and now their dad is dating one and they’re going to be on the show. And I think they got caught up in that, which young kids would do,” she explained.

Jessica Alba opened up about doing therapy sessions with her daughter Honor. “We were arguing all the time about dumb stuff … I was like, ‘I don’t want to live like this. I didn’t want us to have a wedge between us,’” she told Real Simple in a new interview. Alba revealed they started when Honor who is now 15 was 11. “It’s a process and I’m not perfect,” Alba went on, noting that the process helped Honor understand that her mom “was just being a parent.”

LISA BONET files for DIVORCE from JASON MOMOA

Lisa Bonet has filed for divorce from Jason Momoa two years after they announced their separation. Bonet filed the paperwork in Los Angeles County court on Monday. The petition cites irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split. The filing says neither person should get financial support and that the two have agreed on how to split their assets. Bonet also asked for joint custody of their children The couple started dating in 2005 and married in 2017. 

Jodie Foster shared her thoughts about working with Gen Z. “They’re really annoying, especially in the workplace,” Foster said in an interview with The Guardian. “They’re like, ‘Nah, I’m not feeling it today, I’m gonna come in at 10:30 a.m.’ Or, like, in emails, I’ll tell them this is all grammatically incorrect, did you not check your spelling? And they’re like, ‘Why would I do that, isn’t that kind of limiting?’”

Martin Short’s rep responded to all the rumors that he is dating his Only Murders in the Building co-star Meryl Streep. “They are just very good friends. Nothing more.” his rep told E! News when asked about all the romance rumors. In October it was revealed that Streep was separated from her husband of 45 years Don Gummer. 

IAN ZIERING ATTACKED by BIKERS ON HOLLYWOOD BLVD

Ian Ziering broke his silence after he was attacked by a group of bikers  in Los Angeles on New Year’s Eve.

“Yesterday, I experienced an alarming incident involving a group of individuals on mini bikes,” the Beverly Hills, 90210 star wrote on Instagram. “While stuck in traffic, my car was approached aggressively by one of these riders leading to an unsettling confrontation. In an attempt to assess any damage I exited my car. This action, unfortunately, escalated into a physical altercation, which I navigated to protect myself.” TMZ posted video of the disturbing incident that occurred on Hollywood Blvd. Ziering’s 10-year-old daughter was in the car at the time of the  attack. They were unharmed and the police are investigating the attack.

Paula Abdul  has accused former American Idol executive producer Nigel Lythgoe of “multiple sexual assaults” and harassment while she was a judge on the show and also on  So You Think You Can Dance. According to  the lawsuit filed Friday in Los Angeles Superior Court, Abdul claims that during an early season of the singing competition  in an elevator Lythgoe “shoved her against the wall, then grabbed her genitals and breasts and began shoving his tongue down her throat.” That is not the only incident outlined in the lawsuit.  Abdul is asking for an undisclosed amount of damages and Lythgoe has denied all charges.

MATTHEW PERRKY died from ACUTE EFFECTS OF KETAMINE

Matthew Perry died from a result of “acute effects of ketamine” and subsequent drowning, an autopsy report shows. According to the Los Angeles Medical Examiner’s Office Perry’s blood tested positive for ketamine. “At the high levels of ketamine found in his postmortem blood specimens, the main lethal effects would be from both cardiovascular overstimulation and respiratory depression,” the report states. The death was ruled an accident. Perry was “reported to be receiving ketamine infusion therapy for depression and anxiety,” the autopsy report states.

Mayim Bialik announced on Friday that she will no longer be hosting Jeopardy!. The Big Bang star said Sony informed her that she will no longer host the syndicated version of the gameshow. “I am incredibly honored to have been nominated for a primetime Emmy for hosting this year and I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of the Jeopardy! family,” she wrote on Instagram. A Sony spokesperson told CNN that Ken Jennings will be the sole host for syndicated Jeopardy!

Demi Lovato is engaged to musician Jordan Lutes after one year of dating. According to Page Six he proposed to Lovato on Saturday. The couple reportedly celebrated w ith their families at Craig’s in Los Angeles. 

SELENA GOMEZ DATING BENNY BLANCO for SIX MONTHS

Selena Gomez confirmed she’s been dating Benny Blanco for months. Gomez surprised fans with the news of her relationship timeline when she replied to a fan’s comment on Instagram. She said they had been dating for “six months.” She added that Blanco was her “absolute everything in my heart.” Gomez and Blanco first connected when he helped produce her songs “Same Old Love” and “Kill Em With Kindness.” They again collaborated on “Single Soon,” which Gomez released in August.

In an interview with Variety Jennifer Aniston revealed that she texted with Matthew Perry on the morning of his death. She said,“He was not in pain. He wasn’t struggling. He was happy …I want people to know he was really healthy, and getting in shape. He was on a pursuit. He worked so hard. He really was dealt a tough one. I miss him dearly. We all do. Boy, he made us laugh really hard.”

According to CNN the Golden Globes are still searching for a host. Chris Rock reportedly turned down offers to the host the January 7th ceremony. A source told the outlet that at least four other A-list comedic actors have also declined.
