BIG changes on Starbucks’ summer menu!

Starbucks is breaking out some new flavors for summer – including 6 drinks, 2 savory meals, and a cake pop! Though summer doesn’t “technically” start until mid-June, Starbucks graciously dropped these additions yesterday, along with a press release including delicious-sounding descriptions. ANYONE WANT TO DO A COFFEE RUN??

Returning: S’mores Frappuccino
“Inspired by the nostalgic summer experience of roasting s’mores, the S’mores Frappuccino starts with marshmallowy whipped cream and milk chocolate sauce along with a creamy blend of coffee, milk and ice. It’s finished off with more marshmallowy whipped cream and a delicious graham cracker crumble!”

Kendall Jenner’s ORAL BEAUTY line just launched!

Kendall Jenner’s newest venture just launched! MOON, a hybrid oral care/beauty company, partnered with Kendall to create a new product. According to PageSix, she also has a stake in the business and will be the face of the brand. Her signature product is the Kendall Jenner Teeth Whitening Pen ($19.99), which “is crafted from some of Kendall’s favorite natural ingredients, like soothing lavender oil, whitening strawberry extract and the healing properties of honeysuckle flower,” according to a press release (via PageSix).

Beauty influencer Nikkie de Jager posted an instant internet classic over the weekend, with a beauty tutorial narrated by Snoop Dogg. YES, SNOOP DOGG! In a sponsored post for Marc Jacobs Beauty (and as part of her role as the brand’s first-ever Marc Jacobs Beauty global artistry adviser), NikkieTutorials goes from fresh-faced to glam while Snoop says things like, “that’s not foundation, that’s like the roots.” The result, which has more than 2 million views already, is hilarious of course, and somehow also calming in a mesmerizing sort of way. It’s worth a watch:

Ikea’s newest Manhattan store has a TWIST

Most of us think of Ikea and immediately picture a huge warehouse full of furniture displays – but the Swedish retailer has a bit of a surprise for us with its newest location. Opened just last week in Manhattan, Ikea’s Upper East Side Planning Studio “is the first of its kind in the U.S.,” according to the press release, “delivering a new IKEA experience that is more accessible and tailored to meet the home furnishing needs of city residents.” The 17,000+ square foot location will allow customers to browse a curated selection of Ikea items, learn about and customize unique small space solutions one-on-one with a specialist, and order items for home delivery. While the retail giant plans to continue opening new traditional stores in the U.S. (it just opened its 50th, this month in Norfolk, VA!), the press release indicates that Ikea is also planning “a global effort to develop 30 new Ikea touchpoints in city centers over the next three years.” To book an appointment at the Manhattan Planning Studio, click HERE.

Coachella celebrated Easter with Kanye at Sunday Service

Now that we’ve reached the end of Coachella 2019, it seems the biggest hype surrounding the much-hyped music festival was for Kanye West’s Sunday Service. Though his Sunday Service has been going on weekly for months now, Kanye’s Coachella performance was the first real look inside for most fans – and it did NOT disappoint. From The New York Times headline declaring it “the Gospel According to Kanye West,” to Pitchfork calling it “a sacrilegious mess,” it’s all anyone can talk about. Frequent collaborators Kid Cudi, Ty Dolla Sign and Chance the Rapper made appearances, while Kanye rarely vocalized. “Sunday Service didn’t showcase a West the public is used to,” Gerrick D. Kennedy wrote for the Los Angeles Times (HERE). “He barely rapped, or performed any of his music himself, even when debuting a new song titled ‘Water.’ He largely ceded the spotlight to the choir and band as he pounded on his drum machine or got lost in the music.” Kanye’s 50,000 fans included the Kardashian clan (of course), Justin Bieber, Willow and Jaden Smith, and Blackpink, among others.

New week, new amazing variation on your favorite fast food burger

YET ANOTHER fast food chain is testing out an exciting variation on its famous burger – and we’re definitely not complaining. First came the news a few weeks ago that Red Robin would be introducing a vegan Impossible Cheeseburger to its menu at EVERY location (HERE). Then Burger King upped the ante by pulling a non-prank on April fools’ Day (HERE), and began serving Impossible Whoppers at many of its St. Louis locations. And now, we have another modded meat in our midst – the Carl’s Jr. CBD burger. “The Rocky Mountain High: CheeseBurger Delight features two 100% charbroiled beef patties paired with Carl’s Jr. signature Santa Fe Sauce infused with hemp-based CBD oil, pickled jalapeños, pepper jack cheese and Crisscut® fries to give the burger the extra crunch – all between a premium bun,” according to the press release. Though you’ll ONLY be able to snarf one of these bad boys on one day (4/20 of course) at one particular location in Denver, the company does say that they’re considering a wider rollout as regulations allow.

Alexander Wang created a new collection of cooling base layers for Uniqlo. The new line has 11 styles for women and four for men, all with wicking properties meant to keep you cool and dry. “Wear it on a date, wear it out dancing, wear it to the gym — it molds to your daily routine,” Wang told The Cut. The Alexander Wang X Uniqlo AIRism collection is available on the Uniqlo site and in stores.
