Tiger Electronics brings back a retro classic with Handheld Video Games!

That’s right! You know you or your friends had at least one of these back in the day and boy were they addicting! Hasbro’s new line of Tiger Electronic handhelds will launch with four titles in the Fall, including Sonic the Hedgehog 3, Disney’s Little Mermaid, Marvel X-Men Project X, and Transformers Generation 2. They are all available for pre-order from GameStop right now for about $15 each. Each game is based on the original versions available decades ago, but with updated designs which ensures these won’t be fooling collectors on eBay as original copies. We’re also hoping that the electronics on the inside have been improved, prolonging how much gaming we can do with a pair of AA batteries inserted.

What if Tom Holland and Robert Downey Jr. remade Back to the Future?

This whole “Deep fake” thing has over time becoming fightingly too real and convincing. The newest example of this is comes from YouTuber EZRyderX47.

This time around the Deep fake features none other than Marvel darlings Tom Holland (Spiderman) and Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man) as Marty McFly and Doc Brown in Back to the Future. Take a look for yourself. Is this something you could get behind? A remake starring these two? I don’t know. I like the fantasy of it but BTTF is too near and dear to my heart to ever imagine it being done any better than it’s original iteration.

KFC is at it again! This time with their very own CROCS?!

KFC has just been that company that likes to keep people guessing in the past few years. What will they come out with next? A new Colonel Sanders spokesperson? A new crazy chicken sandwich? Or as of recently a new step into the footwear industry. KFC recently announced it was collaborating with Crocs to make a version of the slip on footwear exclusively for the chicken restaurant. The collaboration consists of two versions of the shoe: one with a platform sole and another featuring the original low top crocs design. The KFC x Crocs collection is slated to launch later this spring and they’ll be offered in unisex sizes for $59.99. Check out the debut of the crocs that rocked the carpets at this year’s NYFW and try and snag yourself a pair when they hit stores later this year.

LOST Con 2020 Brings Fans Back to the Island!

More than 200 fans of the hit television series LOST from around the world are currently registered to attend LOST 2020, a fan festival on Oahu, May 21-24. Fans “have to go back” to the island for exclusive screenings of the pilot and final episodes at locations where they filmed, a cast Q&A and autograph/selfie session, an “Orientation” welcome reception and “The End” wrap party, a beer pour with cast member Andrew “Patchy” Divoff, a Legacy of LOST Panel with fan experts including Josh Wigler of The Hollywood Reporter, location tours, costume contest and much more.

The series finale is certain to evoke emotion, as it’s being screened in the church where the final 10 minutes of the episode filmed. Due to space limitations, only the first 250 ticket holders will be able to view the screening at the church. A second screening has been added at the HawaiiConvention Center to accommodate additional attendees. Only a few tickets remain for those wanting to see the finale in the church.

The pilot episode will be screened outdoors at night at Kualoa Ranch. Several scenes of the pilot were shot at the Ranch, including the last moments when Charlie said, “Guys – where are we?” This screening will cap off a day of adventure at the Ranch, including a custom LOST tour of filming locations, a group photo at Hurley’s Golf Course, and a delicious “Orientation” welcome reception with Hawaiian food.

LOST filmed on Oahu from 2004-2010. It still makes headlines from Entertainment Tonight to TV Line. The question most frequently asked is whether ABC will revisit the show at some point. ABC Entertainment president Karey Burkeweighed in during a Television Critics Association press tour last year. “Yes, I would like that very much. That is a reboot I would be interested in seeing,” Burke said. Will it happen? Are the fans interested? It’s something that will definitely be discussed during the Legacy of LOST panel at LOST 2020.
