Eddie Redmayne who won an Oscar for his portrayal of Stephen Hawking in the movie The Theory of Everything paid tribute to Hawking after news broke that the visionary scientist had passed away. “We have lost a truly beautiful mind, an astonishing scientist and the funniest man I have ever had the pleasure to meet. My love and thoughts are with his extraordinary family,” Redmayne said in a statement.
Miley Cyrus is being sued over her 2013 hit single We Can’t Stop. According to The Blast Jamaican singer and songwriter Michael May is claiming that the pop star stole the lyrics from his 1988 song We Run Things. He also claims both songs have the same overarching and pervasive theme. He is suing for an unspecified amount in damages and an injunction prohibiting Cyrus from continuing to sell the song.
Kit Harington just crushed some fans hopes. The Game of Thrones star told GQ Italia that he was “not going to be involved “ in any spinoff. He told the magazine “The great thing about ‘Thrones’ for HBO is that you can sell it in a totally different way. You could set it 300 years earlier and save a load of money because we [the cast] are very expensive now.”
