LEA MICHELE opens up about BULLYING ACCUSATIONS

Lea Michele is set to take the stage in Funny Girl on Broadway next week. In a new interview with the The New York Times she addressed the accusations that she was a bully on the set of Glee. Her former co-star Samantha Marie Ware alleged in June 2020 that Lea made her life “a living hell” on set. “I have an edge to me. I work really hard. I leave no room for mistakes,” Lea told the newspaper. “That level of perfectionism, or that pressure of perfectionism, left me with a lot of blind spots.”

Anne Heche passed away with out a will in place. Her adult son Homer Laffoon has filed documents requesting to be the administrator of the actress’s estate. He also asked to be named “guardian ad litem” over his 13-year-old brother Atlas. Homer noted that the value of her estate is unknown. A hearing has been set for October 11th. 

LEONARDO DI CAPT

Leonardo DiCaprio and Camila Morrone have reportedly called it quits after four years together. A source told People that the couple ended their relationship. They were first linked in January 2018 after being spotted together in Aspen.  The pair were last photographed together on the Fourth of July weekend in Malibu. No official word from the extremely private couple. 

Saturday Night Live reached out to fans on Twitter and asked who they’d like to see host in the upcoming season.  So many people responded with Carol Burnett  that she began to trend on the site. Many were surprised that the legendary comedian had never hosted the show. If Burnett who is 89-years-old does host she would be the oldest person to do so taking over the title from Betty White who hosted at the age of 88. 

Tom Hanks is launching a trivia Game for Apple Arcade. Hanx 101 Trivia lets players test their knowledge across a variety of categories. The Oscar winner narrates the gameplay. According to Apple the game was, “created and developed in partnership” with Hanks. 

CHRIS ROCK revealed he was INVITED to HOST 2023 OSCARS

Chris Rock said he was asked to host the Academy Awards next year. Rock hosted the Oscars in 2005, 2016 and last year when he was slapped on stage by Will Smith. He revealed the invite during his stand-up show in Phoenix on Sunday. Rock reportedly told his fans he turned down the job and a Super Bowl commercial. The comedian also said the slap “hurt.” 

Jesse Tyler Ferguson revealed to Entertainment Tonight that he was not the first choice to officiate Sarah Hyland’s wedding. “I don’t know if people know this, but Ty Burrell was meant to do it, and there was a family emergency.” Ferguson got a call 12 days before the big event and was asked to step in. He said he was, “honored to do it” and “very happy to understudy Burrell.”

Lance Bass knows who he would replace Justin Timberlake with in N’Sync if he had to. “If you guys had to go on the road now as ‘N Sync, but you were gonna have somebody fill in for Justin, kind of like the way John Mayer is now in the Grateful Dead, who do you think you would choose to be in that role,” Danielle Fishel asked Bass on her podcast. “Oh, I know exactly who it would be,” Bass replied. “Darren Criss.”

SYLVESTER STALLONE and JENNIFER FLAVIN SPLIT

Jennifer Flavin has filed for divorce from Sylvester Stallone after 25 years of marriage. The former model filed a petition “for dissolution of marriage and other relief” from the Rocky star on Friday in Palm Beach County Florida. The couple were married in 1997 and share three daughters.

Demi Lovato revealed that she was only 13 the first time she used opiates. “I started experimenting for the first time when I was 12 or 13. I got into a car accident they prescribed me opiates,” she said on the Call Her Daddy podcast. “My mom didn’t think that she would have to lock up the opiates from her 13-year-old daughter but I was already drinking at that point.” Lovato said once her mom realized “how many of the pills had disappeared,” she did lock them up.

Nick Cannon revealed that he is expecting his third child with Brittany Bell. “Time Stopped and This Happened,” he captioned a video of himself and Bell posing for a maternity shoot. She appears to be in her third trimester. This will be Cannon’s 10th child overall. Cannon is also currently expecting a child with Abby de la Rosa.

SARAH HYLAND and WELLS ADAMS are MARRIED

Sarah Hyland and Wells Adams tied the knot over the weekend. The ceremony took place at Sunstone Winery in Santa Barbara. The couple were engaged in 2019 and originally planned on getting married in 2020 but put their plans on hold due to pandemic. Several of Hyland’s former Modern Family co-stars attended the wedding. Sofia Vergara, Nolan Gould, Ariel Winter, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Julie Bowen were all there.  

Casey Affleck welcomed Jennifer Lopez to the family via social media after missing her Georgia wedding to his brother this weekend. “Good things are worth waiting for,” Casey captioned a photo on Instagram. “Here is to twists and turns, new beginnings, and finding new reservoirs of old love. Welcome to the family. Get ready for some real dysfunction! Kidding. I am kidding. Jen, you are a gem. We love you so much!!!

JESSIE J opened up about her OVERWHELMING GRIEF

Jessie J opened up about her “overwhelming grief” nine months after suffering a miscarriage. “When I was 16 years old, I wrote a list of things I wanted by the time I was 30,” the singer wrote on Instagram. “[First] thing on the list was to be a Mum. Now I’m nearly 35 and some days the grief of losing a baby and it not being easy to have one, and wanting my life in that way to look completely different to what it looks like right now just overwhelms me.” 

Alec Baldwin said in a recent CNN interview that he feared Trump supporters would kill him following the fatal Rust shooting in October 2021. Trump reacted to the tragedy by claiming Baldwin “probably shot her on purpose.” Baldwin said, “To me, that was the only time I was worried about what was going to happen. Here was Trump, who instructed people to commit acts of violence, and he was pointing the finger at me and saying I was responsible for the death.”

FLORENCE PUGH and ZACH BRAFF call it QUITS

Florence Pugh and Zach Braff have called it quits. The couple ended their relationship earlier this year but kept it quiet. “We’ve been trying to do this separation without the world knowing because it’s been a relationship that everybody has an opinion on,” Pugh told Harper’s Bazaar in a new interview. “We just felt that something like this would really do us the benefit of not having millions of people telling us how happy they are that we’re not together.” The couple have been linked since 2019.

Bryce Dallas Howard told Insider that she was paid “so much less” than her co-star Chris Pratt for their work in the Jurassic World franchise. Howard said that she discussed the pay disparity with Pratt and he agreed to receive equal pay on other franchise opportunities that were not already contractually binding. “What I will say is that Chris and I have discussed it, and whenever there was an opportunity to move the needle on stuff that hadn’t been already negotiated, like a game or a ride, he literally told me, ‘You guys don’t even have to do anything. I’m gonna do all the negotiating. We’re gonna be paid the same, and you don’t have to think about this.”

Adrienne Bailon and her husband Israel Houghton have welcomed their first child together. “Our baby boy is here and we are so in love,” The Real host wrote on Instagram. Adrienne has been open about her struggles to have a baby. The newborn is namedEver James and was born via surrogate.

ANNE HECHE has been TAKE OFF LIFE SUPPORT

Anne Heche has died at the age of 53 from injuries suffered in a horrific car crash last Friday. Heche has been in a coma since the accident occurred. A rep from her family revealed that she has been declared brain dead, although she remains on life support for organ donation. “Today we lost a bright light, a kind and most joyful soul, a loving mother and a loyal friend. Anne will be deeply missed but live on through her beautiful sons, her iconic body of work, and her passionate advocacy,” the rep said in a statement.

Kaley Cuoco opened up in a new interview with Variety about filming season 2 of The Flight Attendant while she was in the process of divorcing her ex-husband Karl Cook. “I Just didn’t know how to deal with it,” she told the magazine. “I was throwing myself into work to deny my depression, and how upset I was. Unfortunately, the character was so depressed that it wasn’t helping me! I was really, really, really struggling. A lot of tears.

 

VINCE GILLIGAN is moving on from BREAKING BAD

Vince Gilligan said the Breaking Bad universe is coming to an end with The Better Call Saul finale next week.  “You can’t keep putting all your money on red 21. I feel like we probably pushed it doing a spinoff to Breaking Bad [but] I could not be more happy with the results,” Gilligan said during the shows TCA panel.  “Then I did El Camino and I’m very proud of that too. But I think I’m starting to sense you’ve got to know when to leave the party, you don’t want to be the guy with a lampshade on your head.” 

Amanda Seyfried reflected on shooting nude scenes when she was younger in a new interview with Porter magazine. Seyfried said she emerged “pretty unscathed” from her early days as an actor in Hollywood, but she does look back in shock. “Being 19, walking around without my underwear on – like, are you kidding me? How did I let that happen?” Seyfried said. “Oh, I know why: I was 19 and I didn’t want to upset anybody, and I wanted to keep my job. That’s why.”
