JENNIFER LAWRENCE explained meaning of G.O.A.T to MERYL STREEP

Jennifer Lawrence told Stephen Colbert that Meryl Streep did not know what G.O.A.T stood for. She explained that while they were filming Don’t Look Up the cast would call Streep the abbreviation for the “greatest of all time.” “And we were doing a photoshoot and I said something like G.O.A.T. and Meryl kind of said, ‘That’s right. Just tell the old goat where to go.'” Lawrence said. “I was like, ‘Meryl, you know that G.O.A.T. means greatest of all time, right?’ And she was like, ‘Oh, no!'”

Mayim Bialik and Ken Jennings will continue to share Jeopardy! hosting duties for the remainder of season 38. “We are delighted to let you know our excellent and experienced team in front of and behind the camera will continue into 2022,” the show tweeted. The season runs through July 29, 2022.

The Wendy Williams show announced that Williams will not return to host her talk show until at least February of 2022. Guest hosts will continue to appear in Williams’ place throughout January when the show returns from its holiday hiatus. The announcement comes as rumors swirl that Williams will not return to show due to her ongoing health issues. 

NICK CANNON’S 5-month-old SON DIES

Nick Cannon announced on his talk show that his son Zen  passed away. “Over the weekend I lost my youngest son to a condition called hydrocephalus that was pretty much a malignant, invasive midline brain tumor, brain cancer,” Cannon shared. Five -month old Zen was Cannon’s child with model Alyssa Scott. Doctors performed brain surgery on Zen to drain the fluid, but, sadly, things took a turn for the worse on Thanksgiving. Cannon revealed that he held his son for the last time this past weekend.

Brooke Shields slammed Barbara Walters over an interview she did with her in 1981. Shields was only 15-years-old when she starred in an infamous overtly sexual Calvin Klein TV commercial. The former model told Dax Shepard on his podcast that the interview was, “practically criminal. It’s not journalism.”

Martha Stewart revealed that she is seeing someone special. Andy Cohen asked the lifestyle icon if she was dating during her appearance on his talk show “Watch What Happens Live” last week. She at first replied, “no” but quickly changed her answer. “I shouldn’t say no. I mean yes, but I’m not going to tell you.”

 

KHLOE KARDASHIAN IS UPSET about news that TRISTAN CHEATED AGAIN

A source told People that Khloe Kardashian “knows about the baby” that Tristan Thompson allegedly fathered with Maralee Nichols . “ Khloe was upset to find out that he cheated again,” the source revealed. “She just can’t believe that he is going to be a dad again.” Khloe and Tristan were together in March when Nichols’ baby was conceived.  

Henry Cavill said his dog Kal saved his mental health. The Superman star opened up about how important his dog is to him during his and Kal’s appearance on the British talk show Lorraine. “He really is (my best friend),” Cavill said. “We go everywhere together. He’s 8 now and he has saved my emotional, psychological bacon plenty of times.” 

Chris Noth showed his support for Sarah Jessica Parker during his interview with the Guardian. He defended Parker in her on going feud with former co-star Kim Cattrall. “I have to tell you, I have absolutely no idea what her thinking is, or her emotions,” he said of Cattrall. “I do know that I’m very close with SJ and [Cattrall’s] descriptions of her don’t even come close. I liked her, I thought she was marvelous in the show and some people move on for their own reasons. I don’t know what hers were. I just wish that whole thing had never happened because it was sad and uncomfortable.

ALEC BALDWIN said he “didn’t pull the trigger”

Alec Baldwin said he “didn’t pull the trigger” in the fatal shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of Rust. “Well, the trigger wasn’t pulled. I didn’t pull the trigger,” he said in an interview with ABC News. “No, no, no, I would never point a gun at anyone and pull the trigger at them. Never.” Baldwin said he’s at a loss about how the tragedy happened. “I think back and I think of what could I have done?”

Aaron Paul and his wife Lauren Parsekian are expecting baby #2. Lauren announced the happy news of Instagram. She captioned a photo showing off her baby bump, “We can’t wait to meet you baby! We love you so much already.” The couple are already parents to their 3-year-old daughter Story Annabelle.  

Awkwafina is set to join Nicholas Hoult and Nicolas Cage in Universal Pictures’ monster movie Renfield.  The film is  centered on Dracula’s henchman with Hoult playing the title role. Cage will reportedly take on the role of Count Dracula. There is no word on what role Awkafina will take on.  Production is set to begin early next year in New Orleans. 

 

AARON CARTER and MELANIE MARTIN BREAKUP one week after the BIRTH OF THEIR SON

Aaron Carter and his fiancé Melanie Martin have called it quits one week after the birth of their son Prince. The singer announced the news on social media. The split was reportedly due to Martin communicating with his estranged family. Carter tweeted that the two would “continue to make prince our priority during this difficult time.”   

According to Netflix Dwayne Johnson’s Red Notice is the most watched movie in Netflix history. “Red Notice” brought in 328.8 million viewing hours, Netflix reports, topping the previous record held by Sandra Bullock’s “Bird Box” in 2018 with 282 million viewing hours. The film which stars Johnson, Ryan Reynolds and Gal Gadot, was produced by Johnson’s Seven Bucks Productions and debuted earlier this month.

Jennifer Aniston is returning to network television. The Friends star will take on the role of Blair Warner in a live version of The Facts of Life as part of ABC’s upcoming Live in Front of a Studio Audience. Gabrielle Union will take on the role of Tootie and Kathryn Hahn will star as Jo and Allison Tolman will portray Natalie. 

TIFFANY HADDISH AND COMMON call it QUITS

Tiffany Haddish and Common have reportedly called it quits after a year of dating. A source told E! News, “It was an amicable split. They both still think very highly of one another, work obligations simply proved to be too much for them to move forward.” The source added that the two decided to end their relationship, “before continuing on with a long distance relationship.” Common will be in the United Kingdom for the next six months shooting a TV show.

Marilyn Manson’s West Hollywood apartment was raided by the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department . Detectives from the Special victims Unit detectives searched the rockers home on Monday morning. Manson was not there at the time. The search was part of the investigation related to ongoing sexual assault and sexual battery allegations against the singer.

Bradley Cooper revealed that he was held at knifepoint during an appearance on Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert podcast. He recalled the scary incident that happened on the subway in New York City pre pandemic. Cooper managed to flee from the man with out getting injured.

LINDSAY LOHAN is ENGAGED!!

Lindsay Lohan is engaged. The Mean Girls star announced her engagement to Bader Shammas with a series of photos posted on Instagram. She captioned the post, “My love. My life. My family. My future.”  Lohan is wearing her engagement ring in the photos. According to The Independent the pair have been dating for two years.

Matthew McConaughey announced this weekend that he has decided not to run for governor of Texas. “As a simple kid born in the little town of Uvalde, Texas, it never occurred to me that I would one day be considered for political leadership. It is a humbling and inspiring path to ponder. It is also a path that I’m choosing not to take at this moment,” he said in video posted on Twitter.

Keira Knightley and her family are currently in quarantine for coronavirus. “I’ve got COVID and I’m feeling pretty rubbish,” Knightley told Stella magazine. She revealed that her young daughters are recovering quicker than she is. Her husband James is asymptomatic and she said he is “being very smug about it.”

SANDRA BULLOCK addresses those KEANU REEVES DATING RUMORS

Sandra Bullock addressed all those Keanu Reeves dating rumors. Esquire Magazine asked Bullock if she ever dated her former co-star. She simply replied “nope.” She added, “Keanu’s a guy who, I feel like, is friends with every woman he’s ever dated. I don’t think there’s anyone who has something horrible to say about him. So maybe we could have survived. I don’t know.”

Surprise, James Van Der Beek and his wife Kimberly have welcomed their sixth child together, a baby boy. The Dawson’s Creek star announced the happy news on Instagram. “Humbled and overjoyed to announce the safe, happy arrival of Jeremiah Van Der Beek,” he captioned several photos of the newborn. He explained that after experiencing  two late-term pregnancy losses they decided to keep this one private.

Kevin Spacey has been ordered to pay nearly $31 million to Media Rights Capital the House of Cards’ production company. Spacey and MRC have been battling since the actor was dismissed from the production over allegations of sexual misconduct. An arbitrator found that Spacey “repeatedly breached his contractual obligations” and that his behavior “rendered him (and his affiliated entities) liable” for the millions of dollars lost by MRC.

EDDIE REMAYNE says role in DANISH GIRL was a MISTAKE

Eddie Redmayne said that playing a trans character in The Danish Girl was a “mistake. The role earned him an Oscar nomination in 2016. Redmayne told The Sunday Times, “No, I wouldn’t take it on now. I made that film with the best intentions, but I think it was a mistake.” He added, “The bigger discussion about the frustrations around casting is because many people don’t have a chair at the table. There must be a leveling, otherwise we are going to carry on having these debates.”

Jennifer Lawrence is returning to public life after a break from the spotlight. She opened up to Vanity Fair  about why she will not be discussing her husband and first child in interviews. “Every instinct in my body wants to protect their privacy for the rest of their lives, as much as I can. I don’t want anyone to feel welcome into their existence. And I feel like that just starts with not including them in this part of my work.”

Freida Pinto and her husband Cory Tran have welcomed their first child together. The Slumdog Millionaire star announced the happy news on Sunday sharing photos of herself and Tran both holding the newborn and she revealed his name, Rumi-Ray. 

GEORGE CLOONEY called the RUST shooting

George Clooney called the fatal shooting on the set of Rust “infuriating” and “insane,” on the WTF with Mark Maron podcast.  “Every single time I’m handed a gun on the set — every time — they hand me a gun, I look at it, I open it, I show it to the person I’m pointing it too, I show it to the crew,” Clooney said. “Every single take, the Oscar winner explained. “Everyone does it. Everyone knows,” that is the protocol to follow. Maybe Alec did that — hopefully he did do that.”

Lisa Rinna mother Lois died on Monday at the age of 93. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star confirmed the sad news on social media. “5:05am Heaven Has a New Angel,” she wrote alongside a picture of Lois on her wedding day. Rinna announced last week that Lois had suffered a stroke.

Mel Gibson is reportedly in talks to direct the 5th installment of Lethal Weapon. According to The Hollywood Reporter Gibson revealed the news during a fan event in London. He explained that Richard Donner who helmed the four previous installments of the franchise had been working on the screenplay before he died in July and told him if “I kick the bucket you will do it.”  The first Lethal Weapon film starring Gibson and Danny Glover was released in 1987.
