ED SHEERAN opened up about his opinion of AMERICAN AWARD SHOWS

Ed Sheeran opened up about his opinion of American award shows after he performed at the VMA’s. He told The Julia Show that the atmosphere at them is “uncomfortable,” compared to British ones. “The room is filled with resentment and hatred toward everyone else and it’s quite an uncomfortable atmosphere,” the singer said. “In England, our award shows are just like, everyone gets drunk and no one really cares who wins or loses, it’s just sort of a good night out.”

Sarah Hyland shared with fans on social media that she got her COVID-19 vaccine booster shot. The Modern Family star has a chronic kidney condition and has had two kidney transplants. As an immunocompromised person she is eligible for the third vaccine dose. She encouraged people to, “Stay healthy and trust SCIENCE.” 

Wendy Williams revealed that she is battling a breakthrough case of COVID-19. The talk show host made the announcement on her show’s Instagram account. They also announced that the show will be running repeats while Wendy recovers and quarantines. Season 13 of the show will now begin October 14th. 

 

SIMONE BILES testifies before SENATE JUDICIARY COMMITTEE

Simone Biles joined several other members of Team USA Gymnastics to speak before the Senate Judiciary Committee over the FBI’s  investigation into team doctor Larry Nassar. She revealed that the sexual abuse she was subjected to by Nassar had a direct impact on her mental health at the 2020 Olympic Games. Biles, who called herself “a survivor of sexual abuse” in her testimony, blamed her abuse on organizations that “failed to do their jobs” to protect her and other young female athletes.

Octavia Spencer apologized for her comment about Britney Spears needing to get a prenup. “Y’all, a few days ago Sam and Britney announced their engagement and me being me I made a joke,” the Oscar winner wrote on social media . “My intention was to make them laugh not cause pain.” She added that she reached out to the couple privately to apologize. Sam responded to the post writing , “You are very kind to clarify but I have no hard feelings whatsoever.”

Julianne Hough responded to the backlash about a new reality competition show she’s judging alongside Usher and Priyanka Chopra. In The Activist six contestants compete against each other to draw social media attention to various causes . “I do not claim to be an activist and wholeheartedly agree that the judging aspect of the show missed the mark ,” she wrote on social media. “On top of all of this, many people are just becoming aware that I wore blackface in 2013, which only further added insult to injury. Wearing blackface was a poor choice based on my own white privilege and white body bias that hurt people and is something I regret doing to this day,” she added. 

JEFF BRIDGES says CANCER is in REMISSION

Jeff Bridges announced that his cancer is in remission. The Big Lebowski star revealed that he was batting lymphoma in October 2020. “My cancer is in remission,” Bridges wrote on his website. “The 9″ x 12″ mass has shrunk down to the size of a marble.” Bridges also updated fans on his recovery from COVID-19.  “COVID kicked my ass pretty good, but I’m double vaccinated and feeling much better now,” he wrote. 

Kate Hudson is engaged to her long-time boyfriend Danny Fujikawa. The Almost Famous star shared the news on Instagram with a photo of her showing of her engagement ring while embracing Danny. She captioned the photo, “Let’s go!” The couple have a 2-year-old daughter together. 

Jennifer Aniston will not be attending the Emmys despite the fact the she’s nominated in the Variety special category along with her former co-stars for HBO Max’s Friends reunion. “No, I will not be going,” she told Jimmy Kimmel on Monday night, adding that producer and director Ben Winston will attend and accept on her behalf, if they win. “This is a big step for me to just be here. Just baby steps.”

BRITNEY SPEARS is ENGAGED!!

Britney Spears and Sam Asghari are engaged after almost 5 years of dating. The couple announced the happy news on Sunday. The singer posted a video of herself showing off her engagement ring. Sam’s manager Brandon Cohen confirmed the couple’s engagement to People saying in a statement, “The couple made their long-standing relationship official today and are deeply touched by the support, dedication and love expressed to them.”

Surprise!! Uzo Aduba is married. The Orange Is the New Black star tied the knot last year with Robert Sweeting. She broke the news to fans on Instagram. “For some of us, it can feel like we spend our whole lives waiting for our special someone. My heart, my love — I’m so happy my life started last year with you. You’re the best thing that ever happened to me,” she captioned a photo of herself and her husband from their wedding. 

A Florida judge canceled Rod Stewart and his son Sean Stewart’s trial that was scheduled to begin on Tuesday. There will be a hearing next month to discuss a plea deal for the battery charges that the two face over an altercation almost two years ago.  The rock icon and his son are accused of pushing and shoving security guard Jessie Dixon at  The Breakers Hotel  because he wouldn’t let them into a New Year’s Eve party. If convicted, the Stewarts were facing a year in jail, or probation and a $1,000 fine.

 

JENNIFER LAWRENCE is PREGNANT

Jennifer Lawrence is pregnant and expecting her first child with her husband Cooke Maroney. Her spokesperson confirmed the news to People after photos of her in NYC showing her baby bump kicked off the rumor mill.  The couple were first linked in June of 2018 and tied the knot in  October 2019. 

Howard Stern did not hold back when voicing his opinion about people refusing to get the COVID-19 vaccine. “As I remember, when I went to school, you had to get a measles vaccine. You had to get a mumps vaccine… When are we going to stop putting up with the idiots in this country?” Stern said on his SiriusXM show. “The other thing I hate is that all these people with COVID who won’t get vaccinated are in the hospitals clogging it up.” Stern suggested people who chose not to get the vaccine should be refused treatment.

Jennifer Love Hewitt and husband Brian Hallisay have welcomed their third child. The Party of Five star made the announcement on Instagram with a photo of her pregnant belly decorated with the phrase, “almost cooked.”  Their son Aidan James joins their daughter Autumn age 7 and son Atticus age 6.  

 

LILY COLLINS and CHARLIE MCDOWELL are MARRIED

Lily Collins and Charlie McDowell are married. The couple tied the knot in Colorado over the weekend. The Emily in Paris star shared the news with her fans on Instagram. “I’ve never wanted to be someone’s someone more than I do yours, and now I get to be your wife. On September 4th, 2021 we officially became each other’s forever. I love you beyond,” she captioned a photo of them kissing.

Olivia Munn and John Mulaney are expecting their first child. The comedian revealed the news during his appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers. Mulaney and Munn began dating after he checked out of rehab for cocaine and alcohol abuse. “She got to date me right out of recovery, which is what they call a reverse catch,” Mulaney joked. “And that’s been very incredible. And she’s kind of held my hand through that hell. And we’re having a baby together.”

Bob Odenkirk has returned to work after suffering a heart attack in July. “Back to work on Better Call Saul! So happy to be here and living this specific life surrounded by such good people,” he tweeted on Wednesday. The Emmy winner was rushed to the hospital after he collapsed while filming the show in New Mexico.

LISA RINNA is Happy about her DAUGHTER’S BREAK UP

Lisa Rinna could not hide her joy about her daughter Amelia Hamlin and Scott Disick’s break-up. She commented on a Instagram post from Queens of Bravo. The  fan account shared a screenshot of the breakup story.  Rinna simply added a smiley face emoji to share her happiness.  The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star was never a big fan of the relationship and had formerly shared her displeasure about the couple’s 18-year age gap on the show.

They ask for your privacy while grieving this insurmountable loss,” his rep said in a statement. Williams was found in his Brooklyn penthouse on Monday afternoon dead from a suspected drug overdose. Williams is a five- time Emmy Award nominee, including a current one in the upcoming Emmy Awards for his role in Lovecraft Country. 

Stanley Tucci revealed that he battled cancer three years ago. In an interview with Virgin Atlantic’s Vera magazine he said he was diagnosed with a tumor at the base of his tongue and it was too big to operate so he went through months of high-dose radiation and chemo. “I had a feeding tube for six months,” he told the magazine, adding that the cancer is unlikely to come back.

KALEY CUOCO and KARL COOK SPLIT after 3 YEARS OF MARRIAGE

Kaley Cuoco and her husband Karl cook have split after 3-years of marriage. “Despite a deep love and respect for one another, we have realized that our current paths have taken us in opposite directions,” the couple said in a joint statement to People. “We have both shared so much of our journey publicly so while we would prefer to keep this aspect of our personal life private, we wanted to be forthcoming in our truth together. There is no anger or animosity, quite the contrary.” The pair began dating in 2016 and married in San Diego in June 2018.

Kate Walsh will return to Grey’s Anatomy for multiple episodes in the upcoming 18th season. “I’m so excited to be home again,” Walsh said in a video on social media announcing her return. Walsh left the popular medical drama after season 3 to continue playing her character in the series spin-off Private Practice. 

Fran Drescher has been elected the next president of SAG-AFTRA. “I am honored to serve my union in this capacity. Together we will navigate through these troubled times of global health crisis and together we will rise up out of the melee to do what we do best, entertain and inform,” The Nanny star said in a statement.

BRAD PITT AND ANGELINA JOLIE’S CUSTODY BATTLE goes ON

Brad Pitt’s attorneys have filed a petition with the California Supreme Court for a review of his ongoing custody battle with Angelina Jolie. This action comes after Jolie successfully had their former private Judge disqualified and his previous ruling that granted Pitt more time with children voided. Pitt is claiming the judge was improperly disqualified. 

Britney Spears will not be charged for allegedly striking her housekeeper last month. District Attorney Erik Nasarenko announced on Wednesday that the singer “will not be charged with any crimes related to an incident that occurred at her residence involving her housekeeper” after the Ventura County DA’s Office “thoroughly reviewed the case.” 

Simone Biles surprised her Olympic teammate Suni Lee’s father John with a new electric wheelchair on the Today show. “Hi, Mr. Lee, it’s Simone. I love your daughter, Suni, so much and I know how much she loves you,” Biles said in a video. “You have done so much for her so I reached out to my friends at the Today show to see if we could do something special for you. Hope you like it.” John suffered a spinal cord injury in 2019 since then has has been using a Manuel wheelchair.
