Columbus, Ohio brewery BrewDog just opened a “beer hotel” called Doghouse on the grounds of their facility. The hotel’s 32 rooms are each equipped with “a shower fridge to ensure you are never more than an arms’ length away from amazing beer,” plus the option of having “an in-room tap with a draft beer of your choice.” Um, yes please.

Luxury fashion brand Balenciaga has released its newest head-scratcher: a $9,000 jacket which is basically seven layers sewn together. SEVEN.
According to the web page, the “exaggerated layering effect showcases designer Demna Gvasalia’s experimental approach” and features “multicolored layers in assorted fabrics.” Yes, it does.

Using the tagline, “A story of courage that the world needs now more than ever,” Universal Pictures announced that it’s re-releasing the classic film “Schindler’s List” in theaters on December 7. The Steven Spielberg movie was originally released in 1993 and went on to win seven Academy Awards, including for Best Picture and Best Director.

Chipotle has been in the news recently for launching a very successful app which allows for easy ordering and pickup. Now, the fast casual favorite has added “direct delivery powered through DoorDash,” according to the press release, “which allows customers to get Chipotle delivered without ever having to leave Chipotle’s app or website.”
And for now at least, delivery is FREE. “To celebrate the launch of Chipotle in-app delivery, free delivery will be available on all orders of $10 or more placed through the Chipotle website or app for a limited time.”

The new Coco-Cola x Converse x KITH collaboration combines the classic branding of Coke with the iconic coolness of Converse sneakers.
Oversized Coca-Cola logos are embroidered on the backs with their branding written in different languages across the denim uppers. The soles of the sneakers are also a translucent green, drawing inspiration by the green glass used for original Coke bottles. Adding in the KITH collaboration, the retailer’s label is also stamped on the gummy soles of the shoes as well as embroidered on top of a bottle-cap-design that sits on top of the Coca-Cola embellishments.
The collection dropped on Saturday, Aug. 18 and on the KITH site are currently sold out. But make sure to check around other online retailers for they can pop up for re-sale.
The New York Public Library partnered with independent creative company Mother New York to create and promote their innovative new reading initiative called “Insta Novels“. Using the apps Instagram Stories they share such classic tales as Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll, “The Yellow Wallpaper” by Charlotte Perkins Gillman and The Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka. Each of the uploaded tales will have an illustrated introduction from such esteemed artists as Magoz , Buck and César Pelizer.
