2020 tech just gave us our very own droid?! Wow. Move over BB-8 Ballie’s in the house!

CES is currently underway in Las Vegas this week and each day we are bestowed with the latest and greatest news from tech companies all over the world. Leave it to the people over at Samsung to toss out something buzz worthy and they did with “Ballie”. Toted as a rolling robot that follows you this device is the size of a softball and can automate your home security, talk to other home devices and just be your cool sci-fi companion around the crib.

Pretty cool! No word yet as to Ballie’s release date or a price point. But keep your eyes peeled in the near future for the chance to pick one up!

So it’s 2020 and it’s time to start typing and talking about stuff we are loving so far in the initial days of the new decade. Enter this ridiculous product I found trolling around the internet. Story goes  in 2009, a creative team at Wieden and Kennedy New York created a cleverly designed wide-mouth plastic giveaway cup for their client ESPN. This cup featured two cutaways on the far side that let NASCAR fans enjoy their favorite beverage quite comfortably without having to take their eyes off the track. Behold!

Damn. The design was so clever that it received a “Bronze” accommodation from the 2009 One Club for Creativity Show Awards. Way to go! Wondering when and how we can get our hands on one of these. If you know comment in the comments! Cheers to a happy new year ahead.

Pickle Rick will crash the Super Bowl

Adult Swim has partnered with the Kellogg’s Company to premiere a 30 second animated ad during Super Bowl LIV on February 2, 2020 to introduce their newest flavor in the Pringles Stackers line – Pickle Rick potato chips. The chips will be available for purchase across the US on the same day as the ad.

“For the 2020 Big Game, Pringles® is returning for the third year in a row, but this time in partnership with the biggest pop culture hit around, Adult Swim’s award-winning series Rick and Morty™. Known for its bold flavors, playful nature and endless stacking possibilities, Pringles will this year test the limits with Rick and Morty, in a humorous, mind-bending animated spot. IMDB gives us a cool Christmas gift with a Top 100 Movies Bucket List Poster

Timothy and Aurélia Sanders of Curious Charts (previously) have partnered with IMDb to create a colorful, interactive poster made up of mini-posters for the Top 100 Movies Bucket List as ranked by the IMDb community. The poster also comes with a highlighting pen to rate the film after its been watched.

It was a designer’s dream: we designed 100 “mini posters” as a tribute to the movies. This is the only movie bucket list poster generated by fans – based on millions of IMDb user ratings.

The Italian brand Pirelli just debuted its 2020 calendar titled “Looking for Juliet” in Verona, and we’ve got to admit that it’s stacked FULL of stars! Go behind the scenes of the photoshoots Claire Foy, Yara Shahidi, Kristen Stewart and Emma Watson did with famed photographer Paolo Roversi. “There’s a Juliet in every woman,” Roversi said. “And I will never stop looking for her.”
